Presented for educators and educational policy makers, this recording illuminates how reflective skills build the mindful brain and create nine "middle prefrontal functions" that range from regulating the body and emotions to empathy and moral behavior. The ability to reflect on the nature of the mind builds social and emotional intelligence, promotes compassion, and also enhances academic performance. Seems like a "no-brainer" that we should add this skill to our basic list of fundamental skills taught to students of all ages!
