Frank Sabatino is one of two commercial fishermen left in Jamaica Bay. John Klein runs the last family farm in New York City.New York Works documents a vanishing city. From a bra maker to a bell maker this is a great piece of New York history. Plus... it reminds me of my great grandma... bless her heart, she would always tell me the most interesting stories.
One of the really great parts about this book is that you can download all 7 stories or listen to them one at a time. The total listening time for all 7 stories is 43 minutes, but individually they range from 5 - 8 minutes a piece.
