Friedrich Nietzsche is perhaps the most mysterious and least understood philosopher. His aphorisms are widely quoted—and misappropriated by many he would have despised—but he remains an enigmatic figure.
He launched powerful challenges to some of our most cherished beliefs. For example:

It's easy to write Nietzsche off as the mad man who proclaimed "God is dead." But this incredibly lucid and in depth analysis of Nietzsche shows just how much this great philosopher proclaimed, and how right he often was. Robert Solomon and Kathleen Higgins are better conveyors of Nietzsche's ideas than Nietzsche himself and every lecture here is just powerhouse. Listen and let Nietzsche tople your world view and build it back up with his will to power.
