Riane Eisler is an eminent social scientist, attorney, and futurist, perhaps best known as author of the international bestseller, 'The Chalice and The Blade,' which has been translated into 21 languages. She is President of the Center for Partnership Studies, a recipient of the Humanist Pioneer Award, and a member of the World Commission on Global Consciousness and Spirituality.

In her book, 'The Real Wealth of Nations: Creating a Caring Economics,' Eisler argues that many great problems of our time, including poverty, inequality, war, terrorism, and environmental degradation, are due to flawed economic systems that set wrong priorities and misallocated resources. There is a need to properly value and support the essential human work of caring for people and nature.
