Content review: The Getting Things Done (GTD) methodology is pretty revolutionary. For any of us who are stressed about the number of projects that we have or the number of "open loops" that exist in our life, this system can be a God-send. Having said that, it is a system that sometimes isn't easy to grasp the first time around. I've read David's book, attended his seminars (see my blog post about that here: http://www.learnoutloud.com/content/blog/archives/2005/07/getting_things.html) and listened to his audiobooks. Each time I find myself learning something new.
That's why the GTD audio book works so well. It's a great reinforcement for the methodology and the habits you'll want to build as part of David Allen's system. The reason I didn't rate it higher is that I do feel that the book is probably the better way to learn GTD (if you had to choose). But if you can do both then I would highly recommend the audio version as it is a great complement.
Audio-specific review: I listened to the abridged version (approx. 3 hours) of this title through Audible.com. It was narrated by the author who did a great job (David has been doing seminars for years and has solid public speaking skills). The abridgement was well-done considering that some of the material in the book wouldn't translate well to audio.
