The Get Money For College Podcast gives listeners information that can help them obtain funding for their college educations. The show addresses real questions from real students, and gives very informative answers.
Some of the past topics of this podcast include filling out financial aid forms properly, and finding alternative funding sources if your financial award falls short. I found the episode about alternative sources particularly useful. For example, one of the tips that the host gave was to go talk to the dean of the department that your major falls under because in most schools each department apparently has a certain amount of "discretionary funds" that they can distribute as they see fit. I wish I had known that when I was going to school!
As with the other Peterson's podcasts, I found these shows to be much too short. Otherwise, it is definitely very valuable information and worth a few minutes of your time.

I found the Paying for College podcast very informative and useful for parents of college students and students themselves. As an adult college student myself, I found the program very helpful in understanding the sometimes complicated process of securing financial aid.
The podcasts I listened to clarified many of the ways that colleges and the United States Government determine financial aid awards. There were a lot of tips given also about finding additional resources for financial aid.
The show uses a format that simulates real students asking questions and then the host answering them. This adds a lot of interest to the podcast so the host isn't just throwing information at the listener.
The podcasts are very brief, so you can get some great useful information by investing just a few minutes of your time.
