The Quality School program was developed by Dr. William Glasser in an attempt to help create a more need satisfying environment for teachers and students and to improve the students’ overall learning process. It’s a perfect solution to “No Child Left Behind” because in order to become a Quality School, students’ scores on standardized testing must significantly increase. There are schools who have received “No Child Left Behind” grant monies to become a Glasser Quality School. There are currently 17 approved Glasser Quality Schools in the country, one in Australia and another in Canada, with many others currently working to meet the criterion so they can be endorsed as a Quality School.
