He is joined by Christopher Hitchens, the author of Love, Poverty, and War: Journeys and Essays to debate whether the targeting of civilians can be justified in times of war. This event was hosted by the Goethe-Institut in Washington, DC.

A.C. Grayling is professor of philosophy at Birkbeck College, University of London. He is a fellow of the World Economic Forum and the author of Meditations for the Humanist.
