Description

Huck Finn is a homeless rebel who loves freedom more than respectability. He isn’t above lying and stealing, but he faces a battle with his conscience when he meets up with a runaway slave named Jim, who provides him with his first experience of love, acceptance, and a sense of responsibility. Jim is trying to escape to a free state in the North while his owner wants to sell him to a slave trader down river. If he helps Jim escape, Huck knows that he will be in serious trouble with the law. But can he turn in a man who only wants to be free?

one of the greatest american novels

Mark Twain's classic is hilarious. I love an untrustworthy narrator (Huck, not Tom Parker). The dialogue and use of dialect make this novel so outstanding. You will find yourself dwelling on certain lines, and wanting to listen to them over and over again.
