This class is the result of my teaching in the Virtual Yeshiva (www.virtualyeshiva.com) This class is unedited, which means that I begin teaching the passage in question with a strong sense of direction, but without having everything worked out completely. The teaching evolves as it goes, across the span of several weeks. There is considerable repetition. The class was given over the space of six weeks, so a good deal of time is devoted at the beginning of each lecture to reviewing the contents of the previous one.
The passage of the Zohar which I chose, serves an introduction to the meaning of the Priestly Blessing, which was recited in the Temple, and continues to be recited in synagogues to this very day. In these lectures I have yet to touch upon this topic. We are just working our way slowly through the introduction.
