The Intercollegiate Studies Institute Lecture Program assists in sponsoring lectures each year at the college, university, and preparatory school levels. ISI makes available top scholars and nationally known speakers to lecture at campuses across the country. These events examine both popular topics, such as affirmative action and core curriculum controversies, as well as perennial concerns, such as the nature of freedom and the best forms of government. ISI's lectures are rooted in fundamental principles and the enduring Western intellectual patrimony.

Wonderful rumination on the sea and its spiritual meaning, December 05, 2010
Reviewer: Bruce in Iloilo
I just listened to this (December 2010) on my iTunes-enabled phone as I cruised around my topical island home and thought it was wonderful. I plan to share it far and wide, especially to my sailing and pagan friends. I especially enjoyed the language and the imagery that Prof. Kreeft used. Beyond what it made me think about, and it made me think – and feel – deeply, I just enjoyed listening to it and his delivery. It was poetic at many parts, and not just the parts where he quoted poetry. If you have ever loved the sea, every played at the beach as a kid, ever had to be dragged away from the sea by your responsible adult, and ever wondered that that all said about God, Mother Nature and our place in the universe, listen to this. it will make you think and enjoy the beach even more.
