This podcast is based on an NPR radio broadcast so the sound quality is flawless. I am a huge NPR fan so I am thrilled that these programs are now available on podcasts. The host of this podcast, Steve Curwood, has an excellent presentation style.

The latest research information is presented by staff reporters. Sound bytes from guests and researchers are incorporated into the program. The variety of voices and perspectives on a vast array of scientific topics make this podcast an absolute asset to the world of podcasting. I will be subscribing to this weekly podcast and I would recommend it to anyone interested in staying informed about scientific developments that affect our world.

I'm not a science nut but I found this podcast to be entertaining and easy to follow when it comes to exploring the issues facing our world. Host Steve Curwood asks great questions and injects a lot of humor into the interviews he conducts with people that have been studying our planet. These people speak in very plain terms and the whole show just flows really well from person to person exploring aspects of earth's current events as well as astronomical and other scientific happenings. For the layman wanting to learn more about our planet, there's not much better than "Living On Earth".
