MARINA's Walking and Aerobics Podcast by Marina

Marina writes and sings all the songs in the workout as well. Marina doesn't think she needs to give step by step instruction since most people know how to walk and people doing aerobics usually download the same show without any verbal instruction (available at the marinaspodcast website) to do their own thing. The podcasts are 10-15 minutes for fast downloads and designed to be "piggybacked" so your workout can be as long as you like - there are 30 show enough to take a 5 hour walk!

Motivation begins here! Marina’s Walking and Aerobics Workout gives the listener a workout structure by controlling the levels of intensity with music and limited instruction throughout the session.

This is a great way to get a quick aerobic workout without the cost of taking a class, buying a video or joining a gym. It does not provide step-by-step instructions for different moves but limited comments (sometimes very funny and quirky) throughout. I think it is more tailored for walking rather than step or aerobics and they are shorter than I would usually plan for a workout (most are 8 – 15 minutes). I thought the music selections were upbeat and inspirational for getting in the mood to exercise. Like a lot of people, I need someone to give some structure and a whole lot of motivation to get a good workout. Overall, I give it 3.5 star rating as I feel it should be at least 30 minutes to get a good workout.
