Real World Advice that Makes Sense to ME!, June 17, 2008

I've been listening to MTM for a while now and I feel like its the first time I'm actually making progress with my fitness goals - and so much of the rest of my life too.
Scott's got 11 programs a week in his membership (I joined after a couple weeks - so glad I did!) ranging from personal growth to fitness tips and inspirational stories (10-30 minutes each). And it's not just the same ol' stuff I've heard before. Sure.. it's similar concepts, but he says it in a way that works for me and actually gets me to use it in my life. Isn't that what it's about anyway?
I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a boost.

The Motivation to Move is a one-minute daily podcast that strives to help people get motivated to exercise and stick to their diets. These one-minute speeches by the host, Scott Smith, cover a pretty wide range of topics, from how to stick to your diet while eating at a restaurant to meeting your exercise and weight-loss goals without enlisting the services of a personal trainer.
The topics that the host talks about are important and relevant to diet and exercise, which is good. But since the episodes are so short, the host obviously can't provide very much information. That means that if you really want to learn about any of these topics, you have to go and do more research on your own. If the host made this show at least 5 minutes long and talked about the topics a bit more, it would be much more beneficial to listeners.

In Motivation to Move, Scott Smith provides great tidbits of information about diet and exercise. His short tips are designed to move the listener to action with simple and practical steps without the cost often associated with this subject.
With subjects ranging from how to lose without the help of a physical trainer to using the knowledge you already have about based on your past weight loss success, Scott Smith gives practical advice in a “motivating” manner. He is very upbeat and a great speaker which certainly makes listening a pleasure! Although they are very short, the information is practical and useful. Personally, I would need additional assistance with something more of a plan in order to lose weight and be successful.
This is a great addition to a weight loss program but not a plan itself. I will most definitely keep up to date on his podcasts.
