Marianne Williamson shows us how the need to get in touch with our anger and release it--rather than suppress it--is essential to our spiritual well-being and our relationships. In expressing anger, without attacking, we need to feel safe enough to share our truth, and willing to hear the truth from others. Total defenselessness, Marianne explains, is the belief that we cannot be harmed. Since only love exists, the perceived dangers and worries of the outside world exist only outside of us, and cannot hurt our inner, essential selves. Ultimately, we create what we defend against.
