2) Tibetan Bowl Meditation
After enjoying a successful career as a freelance percussionist in New York City, River Guerguerian felt a strong urge to fulfill a different aspect of his humanity. In 1993 he sold everything and for 5 years traveled the world with a backpack, a frame drum, a gong, a flute, and nine Tibetan Singing Bowls - in instrument used since the time of Buddha to insude states of transformation and meditation.
River developed his own vibrational therapy techniques by studying with sound healers from around the globe and then using his singing bowls to work with hundreds of people, guiding them to states of mind-body healing and deep meditation. On "Tibetan Bowl Meditation," River shares his healing expertise and musical sensitivity with us by combing the healing sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls with bass, strings, and percussion.
