Social bookmarking is hot (as anyone who has checked out del.icio.us can attest). Another social bookmarking site that you might want to check is www.digg.com. The Diggnation podcast is an audio version of some of the "highlights" of the Digg website. It's actually a format that works pretty well. Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht go through some of the hot news of the day in a very interesting and informative format.

It's a bit talk-showish in nature but people interested in tracking new trends in technology, entertainment, etc. will likely dig it (pun intended). At times Kevin and Alex are a little much but at the same time their enthusiasm for the subjects makes for a fun podcast. My only request would have been to tighten it up a bit (I think 15 minutes would be a perfect length podcast for this format versus the 25+ minute episode I listened to). Otherwise, I enjoyed listening to Kevin and Alex and definitely have some great fodder for future cocktail party conversations.

The Diggnation podcast by Kevin and Alex makes for a funny broadcast of the events at the social networking site digg.com. The main idea of digg.com is not only to let users submit their technology and entertainment articles on the website, but also allow the users to choose the content that will finally be displayed on the home page. The podcast is made humourous by the hosts, but it tends to go overboard with a little foul language and anarchist flavour. It will, however, be a good way to relax and pass time after a tiring day, or a day when you don't have anything else to do!

The sound quality is good and the narration is excellent. Kevin and Alex actually manage to do some really cool mimicry too!
