Chris Pirillo has got gab. He’s flattering and he asks all the right questions; I only wish his interview subjects were more interesting to listen to. There’s also a hefty archive of past shows on the website, which reads like a catalog of press releases (and media hype) from the past year. The audio quality is good, shows are daily and run a long 30-45 minutes. This show has advertising, mostly for Microsoft stuff (consider yourself warned). I’d give it a higher rating if I was at all interested in the content.

http://live.pirllo.com - Now that you can download Google Chrome, are you going to switch? Granted, this is an early version of the browser, based on very solid pieces of technology. Is it enough, in your limited time playing with it? I've been trying to dive deeper and discover features that may not seem to be available on the surface.

http://live.pirillo.com - In a few short hours from the time this was recorded, we all had our hands on Google Chrome. I feel this is a game changer in the way the World Wide Web works. I made up a list of five reasons that Chrome will soon become your default browser.

Are You Also Addicted to LEGO?
Tue, Sep 02, 2008
http://live.pirillo.com - Yep, this is a Star Destroyer LEGO space craft I just finished building. Isn't it just gorgeous? Datalore gave me this kit as a gift when he visited the US recently for the Gnomedex conference. I was super excited, because I would likely never have bought it for myself. I've never even truly had a LEGO kit before.

Do You Make Your Own Desktop and iPhone Wallpapers?
Tue, Sep 02, 2008
http://live.pirillo.com - I've talked about Desktoptopia before. It runs in the background, and downloads different backgrounds to your desktop. I usually always have it running. Now remember, a wallpaper is not a screensaver. I've found a neat website, though, for creating your own wallpapers.

How Do You Invite People to Events?
Tue, Sep 02, 2008
http://live.pirillo.com - You gotta fight for your right to party! I've just never been a partier. I mainly socialize on the Internet. I don't go out a lot, nor do I host parties of my own. There are times when I do have to venture outside to meet with people. When I do, I usually use an invitation online.

Do You Have Any Social Networking Advice for Students?
Sun, Aug 31, 2008
http://live.pirillo.com - I'm originally from the great state of Iowa. Some nice folks in Kansas asked me to present their Keynote speech at their welcome back orientation. At some point during the live presentation, the video feed died. So, I re-recorded this video. I have to thank the people at Southwestern College for giving me the opportunity to share the Do's and Dont's of Social Networking.

How Do You Share GPS Data with Friends and Family?
Sun, Aug 31, 2008
http://live.pirillo.com - I've had the opportunity to test a variety of GPS devices over the years. They've always been just 'ok' in terms of usability. My favorite one is the one right on the iPhone. What's missing is the ability to track where you've been, or share with your family where you're going.

How Are You Extending Your Mobile Phone's Battery Life?
Sun, Aug 31, 2008
http://live.pirillo.com - I am still enjoying my iPhone, despite the fact that version 2.0 of the operating system has been anything but great. I've experienced a great degree of consternation over this device that seems to lose its power within hours. I know I could turn things off like the Bluetooth, but then what's the point of having it?

Is Your Computer Monitor Sitting Atop a Stand?
Sun, Aug 31, 2008
http://live.pirillo.com - I recently bought an iMac, to keep programs running on it that I don't necessarily want going all the time on my main machine. I have it set up on one corner of my desk. However, the monitor just didn't sit up high enough for me. I had to find some kind of stand that would work perfectly with the iMac, and my office decor.
