FAQ
Q:How do I Learn Out Loud?
A:

Learning Out Loud covers learning from all audio and video formats, such as Audio Cassette & CD, MP3 CD, Digital Download, VHS, DVD, and other formats.  LearnOutLoud.com is a portal to thousands of the audio and video titles you can learn from.  We're here to help you find the best audio and video materials out there, and once you've found them we'll link you to a major retailer so you can buy the items and start to Learn Out Loud!

Q:Can I buy items from LearnOutLoud.com?
A:No (at least not yet!).  We're here to help you find the best audio and video resources out there in whatever subject you're looking for.  For example, there's
literally hundreds of publishers out there and for you to have to track down
the best audiobook or documentary on any given subject could take you hours.
That's why we want you to come here for all your audio and video learning
needs, because our site will help you locate the resources in seconds.
And once you find the items you need, then just click the audio or video
format you want it on located on the right side of the product page and
we'll link you to a trusted retailer who can get you what you want.

Q:What are the Forums for and how can I join?
A:The LearnOutLoud.com Forums are there for you to find out about all the
audio and video learning resources out there.  Whether it's a new way Learn
Out Loud such as listening to audiobooks on an iPod, or it's a title that
one of our members loved and wants to share with you, this is where you'll

in the upper left hand box, plug in your user name and password, and you can
participate in the LearnOutLoud.com community!

Q:Why don't you carry fiction bestsellers?
A:That's a good question and hopefully we'll provide an adequate answer.  First, we feel that there are a number of sites out there that are already catering to that market.  It's not too tough to find the Da Vinci Code on Amazon or Audible.  Second, we feel very strongly in the benefits of audio learning.  Our goal is to enable that and to show people the wide array of choices available to them.  Finally, it's the area in which we know the most about.  We're not the people to ask about Danielle Steele novels.  We'll leave that to someone else.

Q:What is the difference between Abridged and Unabridged Editions?
A:An Unabridged Edition of a title is a full length rendition of the
original publication.  An Abridged Edition is shortened version of an
original publication.  Abridged Editions have an average running time of
about 3 to 6 hours, whereas Unabridged Editions can be much longer.  For
many titles, LearnOutLoud.com has both Abridged and Unabridged versions
available so keep an eye out for the "Abridged Available" or "Unabridged
Available" links in upper right hand box of the product pages.
