This is a recorded speech by Mohandas Gandhi, the Father of India, the man known for his philosophy of ahimsa (non-violence). Recorded in 1931 at London's Kingsley Hall by BBC Four, the speech is about the mysterious power that rules everything in the universe. According to Mahatma Gandhi, there is a transcendental "indefinable mysterious power that pervades everything", from the smallest particle of matter to the biggest form of life.

He admits that he cannot persuade the audience to believe in this truth by applying reason. This unalterable law can only be felt in the heart, he says, and this moral law is God. God is the "Supreme Good", truth and love. He gives the example of poor villagers in the princely state of Mysore, who, being ignorant of a King ruling them, say that an indefinable law governs them. This, and the experiences of saints throughout ages, prove that God exists, says Gandhi. Finally, he asks the listener to always have faith in this.

This is a wonderful speech by one of history's most important personalities. One can get a deeper understanding into Gandhi’s philosophy of life and love through this speech. I recommend this audio title to everyone.
