'Another World Is Possible', is the culminating forum of the Student Research Conference, similar to the World Social Forum organized in Brazil. It explores alternative and constructive pathways to globalization and brings together a panel of speakers including Professor Noam Chomsky, Institute Professor, and Professor of Linguistics, Linguistic Theory, Syntax, Semantics, and Philosophy of Language at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mel King, former Massachusetts State Representative, Founding Member of the Rainbow Coalition, lecturer emeritus, M.I.T., Carolina Contraras, Somerville High School Atrevete organizer, Dayanna Fernandez, Somerville High School Atrevete organizer, Leonida Zurita Vargas, Quechua Community organizer from Rural Bolivia, and Melissa Chabran (moderator), Ed.D. Student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
