For 125 years, students, faculty and staff at the institution that is today NJIT have been a community engaged in advancing scientific and technological innovation, and in applying such innovation to improving the quality of life. The most important components of this engagement are ideas that excite and challenge, ideas that often nurture the entrepreneurial spirit of those who better their communities and their nation by building new commercial enterprises. Once again, this academic year, the NJIT Technology and Society Forum presents speakers whose ideas excite and challenge. Share the exploration of topics that range from our potential for creativity and the possibility of controlling our evolutionary future, to the many benefits of ending society's dependence on contentious sources of petroleum.
