The Intercollegiate Studies Institute Lecture Program assists in sponsoring lectures each year at the college, university, and preparatory school levels. ISI makes available top scholars and nationally known speakers to lecture at campuses across the country. These events examine both popular topics, such as affirmative action and core curriculum controversies, as well as perennial concerns, such as the nature of freedom and the best forms of government. ISI's lectures are rooted in fundamental principles and the enduring Western intellectual patrimony.

LearnOutLoud.com Review:
Masculinist Theory | Harvard Professor Harvey Mansfield delivers a talk that is sure to get you thinking about the role of manliness in our society. Just as feminism has been studied and had a profound influence in the world particularly in the last half century, so too Mansfield believes that the virtue of manliness should be studied to determine what it characteristically is and is not. He offer many opinions on what he feels manliness is and fields questions at the end. |
