Toni Morrison has published seven novels, Paradise; Jazz; Beloved; Tar Baby; Song of Solomon; Sula; and The Bluest Eye. She has also edited two books of essays, Racing Justice, En-Gendering Power: Essays on Anita Hill, Clarence Thomas, and the Construction of Social Reality and Birth of a Nation’hood: Gaze, Script, and the Spectacle in the O.J. Simpson Case.
Ms. Morrison, who is Robert F. Goheen Professor in the Council of the Humanities at Princeton University, received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1993.
