Long renowned as one of the smartest writers on the loose, David Foster Wallace reveals himself in Consider the Lobster to be also one of the funniest. In this program, he ranges far and farther in his search for the original, the curious, or the merely mystifying. He discovers the World's Largest Lobster Cooker at the Maine Lobster Festival and confronts the inevitable question just beyond the butter-or-cocktail-sauce quandary.

Love LearnOutLoud - Recommend it to all my friends...but they should stay away from Audible.com. A simple mp3 download shouldn't require 5 pages, 10 minutes, and Audible's "special software" !!!

I would sign up for just about a FREE anything. Free songs, free beer and most assuredly free lobster. Imagine my attempt at an impression of a lobster's scream at last swim as I drew the line and thought with buttery finger victory, I will never sign up for an excerpt!

You have to sign up for Audible.com to get this. I once was a member. They charge you monthly whether you download anything or not. You don't accumulate credits -- use it or lose it. What would it cost them to let you pay now and download later? NOTHING. But they won't do it because they just want your money, not your business or loyalty.
Stay away from audible.com LearnOutLoud is much nicer folks!
