Write a Review of KCRW's Film Reviews Podcast

cajkkw, February 17, 2006
Reviewer: cajkkw from Los Angeles, California

Joe Morgenstern's dry sense of humor is infused into his quick and unfussy movie reviews. His show does not contain any flashy music or sound bites. There are no breaks in between movies; he finishes with one and goes right into the next one. Under around four minutes, Joe reviews 2 or three current releases.

His reviews are honest. Joe is not afraid to let everyone know his opinion about the quality of movies that Hollywood is coming out with. This is very refreshing to hear. However, he does have a pretty monotonous voice and the lack of breaks in between movies makes you feel as if he has simply moved on without finishing up what he was saying. Because the reviews are so short, I did not feel as if I heard enough about the movie to form an opinion.
