Over the last few years, there's only one seminar that has been called the "pinnacle" event in the Internet marketing industry. It's the one seminar where top experts and online millionaires converge. The one where eager students come to, ready to pounce on the latest profit-pulling tip or breakthrough.
The next event will be held November 4-6 at the Los Angeles Hilton. Hundreds will attend. Tickets are $2000 each. Speakers include (with a few surprises) Armand Morin, Alex Mandossian, Stephen Pierce, John Carlton, Dave Lakani, Kirt Christensen, Jim Edwards, Stephanie Frank, Derek Gehl, Michel Fortin, and Cynthia Kersey.

The Big Seminar Live Podcast brings listeners bits, pieces, and segments of public speeches by great motivational speakers. The focus of the program is about marketing secrets to increase the success of a company. I found the three podcasts I reviewed to be motivational and informational.
The archived podcast on the topic of premium podcasting was especially interesting. Anyone interested in learning more about what podcasting is and what the future may hold for this technology should check out this podcast. The speech may even inspire you to get involved in creating your own podcast.
The only shortcoming of some of the other podcasts is that they contained only about fifteen minutes of each speech. This left me wanting to hear the rest of the speech, but I gained some new knowledge from each one despite this fact.

The Big Seminar Live Podcast has a lot of potential. However, I think there needs to be a clearer and more consistent format on the part of its producers. The first few episodes of the podcast were simply segments from the actual Big Seminar live seminar events. These were good but they would cut the segments off at the mid-way point which kind of got annoying.
Recent episodes of this podcast have gravitated to a more traditional format with interviews and such. The content is compelling and those with an interest in marketing will probably find this helpful. It's a little too self-promotional for my taste but heck, that's part of what marketing is about huh?

The seminar had some good content, but at times was torturous. to get through By its very nature, you're listening to a seminar so you don't get the visual aspect but you do get a straight-from-the-microphone monologue full of content... and errors. At times the speaker will interact with the audience but you only hear one side of the conversation and at other times the speaker will be working on his computer to change slides (which you don't see) and he talks to himself while he's doing it.
The lack of visual content made this podcast a little long to listen to and the value of the content was diminished slightly.
Still, the value for listeners does exist from listening to industry leaders. I would still recommend listening to it, but just make sure you have the patience to sit through the parts that contain moments of silence or rambling.
This podcast rates 3.5 stars. They are good podcasts with some "big-think" value and some immediate practicality but its biggest drawback is its format which makes it a little longer than listeners will really want it to be.
