Write a Review of Speeches and Historical Audio Podcast

I discovered the Speeches and Historical Audio Podcast on the LearnOutLoud.com website, and I am so happy I did! This is a great, great podcast that brings listeners the audio versions of famous speeches in history in their entirety.

The host sets the stage for listeners by giving the historical context of the speech. Then he summarizes the main points of the speech, which serves to focus listeners' attention. And then we get to hear a great speech.

It's one thing to read the text of a speech in your high school history book; it's quite another to hear it delivered by the original speaker. I liken it to the difference between reading a play and seeing it performed live in a theater.

If you want a bit of history to come alive for a few moments, check out this podcast!
