Best of the Breed, August 20, 2008

The most exciting day of most months is when I plug in my iPod and find a new "Hardcore History" podcast snaking through the various tubes of the internets into my iTunes... I save them for when I go to bed and immerse myself in Mr. Carlin's engaging, insightful, entertaining and informative ability to connect the infinite dots... this podcast will teach you more about current events than any news channel. History repeats, and we are lucky to have him to remind us of that fact. A 10!

Dan Carlin's Hardcore History is an extremely original history podcast in that it takes the listener through the facts and engages in analysis, comparative narration and as such makes a unique attempt to connect us with history

Interesting and informative, June 13, 2007
Reviewer: Jason_D_Ashley
The "talk-show" format keeps me gripped to the topic like no other podcast I've listened too. Subjects are interesting and discussion is paced in a way that doesn't result in mental fade-out. If Mr. Carlin is reading from a prewritten script, you wouldn't know it by his presentation. The only possible complaint I might have would be that his shows do not come out frequently enough.
