Write a Review of Who Said? Podcast

The Who Said? podcast is a neat quiz game for literature buffs. The host reads a speech from a book, and listeners have to try to guess the author and title of the book, as well as the character who spoke the words. The host usually picks from the classics, but she has also read from more modern works, such as Harry Potter.

For the most part, I think this podcast is great. The only thing I would quibble with is that the host sometimes picks relatively obscure speeches from a work instead of the famous ones. This does make the game more challenging, but on the other hand it probably wouldn't be much fun if you never guessed the correct answer. I give this podcast 4 stars.

Who Said? Podcast by Amy Bellinger is an excellent podcast for literature as well as quiz buffs. Ms. Bellinger terms it 'a literature game delivered as a podcast'. The narrator speaks out a passage from a book, usually a classic, and listeners have to guess the character who speaks it and the book the passage is from.
For example, the August 25 podcast features a speech by Morris Townsend from Henry James' 'Washington Square'.
A great idea, only that the narrator usually chooses less obscure or difficult passages. But then again, this is a podcast for the diehard literature lover wanting to test his/her knowledge.
The audio and voice quality are good. I give this podcast 4.5 stars and recommend it to all true-blue literature lovers out there.
