Dan Bongino, Contributing Editor for Conservative Review, fills in for Mark. Are the protestors at the Trump rally trying to get Donald Trump elected? It is ironic that the left wants safe spaces for themselves but make unsafe spaces at these protests for everyone else. Liberals have a monopoly on trying to shut down speech. Regardless of who the Republican nominee is, the leftist protestors will show up to get a heckler's veto. There are no conservative protestors trying to silence the left with violence. In addition, America hit .5% GDP growth last quarter. Just to keep up with population growth we need 2% GDP growth and President Obama can’t even keep up with that. However, the Obama Administration and the left will continue to make excuses for the economy’s poor performance. Later, when asked how President Obama is doing, his supporters will say great. However, when you take Obama out of the equation, 70% of Americans say the country is going in the wrong direction.

John Boehner, the quintessential big government Republican, made vile comments about Ted Cruz. His comments reveal all that is wrong with Washington DC and the establishment. Sen. Mike Lee calls in and said the fact that Boehner said this is appalling and he called on Boehner to apologize. Lee explained that what Boehner said should be a wake-up call for Americans and it shows the Republican Establishment’s true colors. Later, Scott Rasmussen, President of Styrk, calls in to talk about projections for Tuesday in Indiana and beyond. Rasmussen said we are at a crossroads and the GOP nominee will be decided in Indiana. If Cruz wins in Indiana next week, no matter what happens in California, we will have a close race between him and Donald Trump.

Carly Fiorina calls in for her first radio interview after being named as Ted Cruz’s VP pick. She discussed her candidacy, the path forward for the Cruz campaign, the role of outsiders this year, and how Trump and Hillary Clinton are two sides of the same coin. Also, Donald Trump is not the presumptive nominee. If Trump doesn’t get to 1,237 he will be in big trouble and will most likely lose on the 2nd ballot at the Republican convention. In addition, getting over 50% is an achievement for a candidate who is running in the primaries. Reagan had over 70% of the vote in April and by June he had 80%. Trump doesn’t have the numbers that Reagan had when he was running. If Trump has a majority of people supporting him in the Republican primary, shouldn’t he have a bigger percentage of the popular vote? Later, if you could prosecute Trump for being a liberal, he would get a life sentence. Trump has filled his staff in south Florida with mostly foreign workers at his club Mar-a-Lago. He was using and abusing the H-2B visa system as much as he could. Finally, Andrew McCarthy former, U.S. Attorney in New York, calls in to talk about Donald Trump’s foreign policy speech.

Tuesday was primary night and as expected Donald Trump won all 5 states: Maryland, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Delaware and Connecticut. Trump’s performance in these states will not increase his chance of winning the nomination, because they have already been factored into predictions. Trump is going to roll through these and other blue states, but he won’t do so in the general election. The real race begins after tonight. Despite all of the pundits declaring Trump the nominee following Tuesday's results, he will face a much tougher road ahead than they want to admit. The race for the nomination will be determined by the ten primary races left after these five. After that, there are no parallels between Ronald Reagan and Trump. Reagan didn’t turn 69 and decide to become a Republican and conservative, like Trump did. Later, we are heading for some rocky water with the Republican and Democrat party. If people want to live under tyranny they will live under tyranny. People will have to live with the consequences of what they do or don’t do. However, it is not too late to remind ourselves of what kind of country we want.

Donald Trump has been whining against the “Art of the Deal” for the last month. He certainly has been dealt by Ted Cruz in states like Wyoming and Colorado. Now Trump is complaining about collusion by John Kasich and Ted Cruz teaming up to stop him. There is nothing illegitimate about trying to stop the other guy from getting the nomination. In 1952 Robert Taft and his supporters sought to stop Dwight Eisenhower from being nominated by forming a coalition against him. Despite Taft’s efforts, Eisenhower won the majority and never complained about having to get it. This is part of the process. Right now, it looks like Cruz has read the “Art of the Deal” and Trump has not. Later, former Admiral John Kirby has become a mouthpiece for the Obama Administration of the worst kind. We were told that there were not going to be boots on the ground, and Kirby is denying that this was a position of the Obama administration. Now , 250 more Special Ops are going to be sent to Syria. Finally, UFC fighter Frankie Edgar calls in to discuss his fight at UFC 200 in Vegas.

Inga Barks from KNZR in Bakersfield, CA fills in for Mark. With Rome burning you would think that President Obama and Prime Minister David Cameron would be speaking about other things, instead of American bathroom policies. In addition, President Obama said the UK will go to the back of the que for US trade deals if they leave the European Union. It seems that he would rather do business with the larger European block. Later, Governor Terry McAuliffe of Virginia is giving felons their right to vote back. Most states do offer felon’s their right to vote. However, Gov. McAuliffe’s move appears to be politically motivated with the upcoming election, and his sincerity needs to be questioned. Also, elites and politicians are cramming policies down Americans’ throats these days without actually understanding there effects. For instance, Donald Trump wants to tax the rich, but this policy is going to affect those on the verge of being upper middle class rather than the real rich. Finally, Heidi Cruz calls in to discuss her husband’s campaign and why he is so principled.

Is it too much to expect a Republican front runner to defend men going to the men’s room and women to the women’s room? Any sensible person would disagree with Trump and liberals on this bathroom issue. This is a big issue, because once again it gives you a look into the future of what Donald Trump would be like as the Republican nominee and as President. After that, we had an enormous opportunity to take our case to the American people. Instead, now we have to make our case to Trump supporters.. The man in the Oval Office needs to share our basic beliefs, values, and principles. Later, Trump has turned to one of the biggest lobbyist insiders in Washington D.C., Paul Manafort. Manafort should be asked about his former clients, especially the Kashmiri American Council and being bankrolled by the ISI, the Pakistan intelligence service. Why don’t the media ask him about this? After that, Ted Cruz calls in and explains that Trump’s bathroom view is the same as Hillary and Obama’s. Finally, Randy Barnett calls in to talk about his new book, “Our Republican Constitution: Securing the Liberty and Sovereignty of We the People”.

Donald Trump won New York Tuesday night with 60.5 % of the vote, but that is not as important as the media makes it out to be. He won the amount of delegates he was expected to win in his home state. Trump got over 524,000 votes in New York, but Cruz got 531,000 in Wisconsin. Wisconsin is such a small state compared to New York with regards to population. If it was such a big win for Trump, he should have won way more votes than Cruz did there. Also, the claim that Trump can win New York in the general election is a myth, because Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders had a combined total of 1.8 million votes in Tuesday’s primary. That is significantly more than all the Republican votes combined. The New York election turnout is telling us that these big blue states are not going to go Republican in the general election. If the Republican Party is going to win in this election, they will likely lose the popular vote and have to win it in the Electoral College. Later, in 1991 the Democrats invited Donald Trump to testify on the 1986 Reagan tax cuts. Trump claimed that they were catastrophic and helped to drive the country into a depression. Finally, there is a difference between government and country. President Obama doesn’t get it and neither does Trump.

Tuesday is primary day with voting commencing in New York State and some people pretend that they don’t understand how the delegate system works. They should take some context from the election of 1800, one of the most amazing of all elections in American history. As it is today, the matter of selecting the state electors was reserved to the states back in 1800. In addition, none of the candidates in 1800 complained about the system being corrupt. Also, Donald Trump knew the intricacies of the bankruptcy system and eminent domain, yet is out-maneuvered and out –managed when it comes to getting delegates in states that don’t have primaries. He claims to be for the little guy, but has failed to meet with the little guy to make his case. Meanwhile Ted Cruz is the one outmaneuvering Donald Trump and persuading delegates to support his cause. Later, it looks like there are problems in paradise for the Trump campaign. Paul Manafort has taken over the campaign and displaced Corey Lewandowski. Finally, Joe Biden thinks he knows better than Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu what is best for Israel. He and others need to stop meddling in the affairs of Israel.

Neither Donald Trump nor his supporters believe in voting. Hawaii? Kentucky? Nevada? These were all caucuses that Donald Trump won. Was the process rigged there, because there was no primary, no vote? The most un-democratic part of the process is the winner-take all primaries where a candidate can get 45% of the vote and then walk away with all the delegates. Is that fair? After that, Michael Carter, former President of the Uniformed Firefighters Association calls in to talk about his NY values when he was helping others during the 9/11 attack and his pick for president. Later, Bernie Sanders is using Palestinian propaganda when talking about Israel. A bus in Israel blew up due to an act of terrorism Monday . It’s obvious that Israel is not planting these bombs, but terrorists are. This is the problem with the Marxist mentality, the facts don’t matter. Nothing will change his mind when it comes to the challenges that Israel faces. Also, we have Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton promoting Marxist propaganda and Trump promoting populism. What America needs is a liberty movement and a conservative president to turn this country around. Finally, Ted Cruz calls in to discuss the ‘rigged system’ Trump keeps talking about and Trump’s NY values.

America has an electoral college, because we don’t believe in populism or mob rule. Dr. Ben Carson needs to understand the facts and history properly. Carson is shredding the Constitution by suggesting the circumstances have changed so that we don’t need the Electoral College any longer. After that Donald Trump has been whining every step of the way about the Republican Primary. Trump is making it clear that the Republican Primary rules are only ok when he wins. On the other side, Ted Cruz has not complained once about the process. Later, many of us have lost faith in some of the places, organizations and people who we thought were conservative. The best thing we can do now is to stop paying attention to those who are not truly conservative and listen to those who are. Also, Ted Cruz is not against the police, firefighters or emergency responders. He would have voted for the Zadroga Act if it wasn’t part of a disastrous omnibus spending bill which had many bad elements to it, including Obamacare and amnesty. Cruz would gladly have supported this bill on its own merits. Finally, Ed Morrissey calls in to discuss his new book, Going Red: The Two Million Voters Who Will Elect the Next President--and How Conservatives Can Win Them.

The Republican primary system is not set up to stop Donald Trump. If anything the system helps him as he has 37% of the popular vote in the primary but has 45% of the delegates. If we are going to play by Trump’s rules then he should return 8% of his delegates to make the process fair. Also, it is going to be very difficult to unite the party around a man, Trump, who threatens to bolt if he doesn’t get his way. This will only give the election to Hillary Clinton. If Hillary becomes President, we will have no one to thank but Trump and the pseudo-conservatives who are abandoning their principles to support his antics. Later, Ted Cruz has out organized Donald Trump in Nebraska in collecting delegates. Nobody from the Trump campaign showed up for Nebraska. The fact is the Trump team has gotten its clock cleaned when it comes to getting a hold of delegates. He needs to clean up and organize his operation if he wants to cross the finish line.

On LevinTV Marco Rubio said he wants the Republican presidential nominee to be a conservative and that Cruz is the only one who fits that criteria, but fell short of a formal endorsement. Since then the media has questioned Rubio's rhetoric, wondering why the he didn't just outright endorse him. Rubio's sort-of endorsement was for a distinct purpose. He wants to make sure his delegates are bound to him on the first ballot at the convention, so that they can’t support whomever they wish. If Rubio formally endorsed somebody it would appear that his delegates were free. After that, Hillary Clinton is proposing massive new tax increases that exceed one trillion dollars over 10 years; this is utter madness. Hillary's idea is called stealing and is not investment, but robbery. The government already has received a record amount of taxes at $1.48 trillion in 2016 and doesn’t need anymore. Later, the Democrat Party is the party of slavery and the Republican Party was founded to combat slavery in 1856. In present times, the policies of the Democratic Party have done much to destroy the African American culture and family.

The Republican primary system is not rigged, but Donald Trump insists that it is. He sounds like an entitled liberal demanding delegates from Colorado without having put in the work to win them. The delegate appointment rules in most of these primaries have been established for nearly a century. In Colorado, for example, the rules for this primary process have been in place since 1912. Has the system been corrupt for 100 years? No. This has never been a pure democracy, we have a federalist system and the states determine the rules for their primaries. It’s the candidate’s job to navigate those rules. After that, you have two camps, the progressive populists and the Republican Whig party which protects Mitch McConnell. What America needs is to unleash the economy with Reagan conservatives and stop the growth of the federal bureaucracy. In addition, Bernie Sanders and liberals’ entire goal is to destroy society and replace it with a utopia. Sanders’ latest victim of attack is the Walton family and Walmart who creates many jobs for the middle class. This is unlike Sanders who claims to be for the middle class yet has never created a job. What Sanders is really angry about is that the government doesn’t control Walmart. Also, the Establishment may get its way with Rule 40B which allows delegates who are bound on the first ballot to show a preference for a secondary candidate. This preference could give a candidate who doesn’t meet the 8 states majority threshold enough states to qualify.

Colorado’s delegate allocation was fair and there really was no controversy at all. Colorado has been awarding their delegates essentially the same exact way since 1912. This was not an effort to undermine the people but an effort to give them a voice. Now Donald Trump and his surrogates are claiming that it is unfair for Colorado not to hold a vote. Colorado is yet another state being smeared for not buckling to Trump. Congressman Ken Buck of Colorado calls in and explained why voters were not disenfranchised as Trump is suggesting and why there is no fury about the process. Not all states have primaries and Trump needs to accept this fact. Many states have primaries, while others choose to have caucuses where delegates are unbound. Later, Bernie Sanders can’t even get support for Israel right. How can Israel not respond to an organization, Hamas, that unleashes terror attacks against it?

If you listen to Ted Cruz you know exactly what he means by “New York values”. Cruz was referring to people taxing New Yorkers into oblivion and treating cops and other emergency personnel badly. In addition, for Jeffrey Toobin and Geraldo Rivera to refer to Cruz as making anti-Semitic comments is absurd. Cruz has been more supportive of Jews in this country and Israel than Jeffrey Toobin and other libs ever could be. Anyone who is intelligent enough to examine the issues knows that Cruz is standing up for the good guys. After that, the New York City Council is now honoring Ethel Rosenburg, a convicted Soviet Spy. That is exactly what Senator Cruz was referring to when he mentioned “New York values”. Later, CEI is the latest victim of the climate change skepticism witch hunt. They have been subpoenaed by the U.S. Virgin Islands and are under attack for opposing climate change. Also, organizations like AGs United for Cleaner Power are trying to silence and threaten those who oppose climate change by conducting these attacks.

Dwight Eisenhower and Abraham Lincoln never complained about having a contested convention, so why is Donald Trump? When previous candidates had to go to a contested convention, they knew what they had to do and what the rules were. Trump and his surrogates may not think the system is fair but it gave us Eisenhower and Lincoln. After that, Iran is a horrific regime inside and out. They have killed scores and scores of U.S. soldiers and are exporting terrorism. However, the Obama administration is advising international banks on how to get around the sanctions to provide Iran with finances. President Obama and his underlings are conspiring with Iran against the American people. Later, in some respects America is up for grabs. The status quo can’t go on forever with the army of bureaucrats, wide open borders, enemies abroad, and $13 trillion in debt. The left never tires of promoting its massive big government agenda, but its growth is not inevitable. That is why we as conservatives must continue to advance our ideas. Finally, Rep. Tuesday was a crushing victory for Ted Cruz in Wisconsin over Donald Trump and John Kasich. Cruz out performed even the best polls. However, now Trump is complaining and blaming his loss on Cruz having Establishment backing. Ironically, Trump was backed by the establishment in Iowa, and is just pointing fingers. There is no one more anti-establishment than Ted Cruz, who wants a flat tax, to abolish the IRS and get rid of sanctuary cities. This whining by Trump surrogates is pathetic. In addition, Trump complains about the Republican Convention rules, but the rules are actually positioned in his favor. After that, progressive populists want to get rid of the Electoral College, so that the people can decide. However, somethings are not up for grabs by the public because they are God given. There is a right and wrong, and they can’t be decided by the majority. Finally, California’s attorney general had police raid a pro-life activist, David Daleiden’s home. Daleiden is part of the Center for Medical Progress and was instrumental in obtaining footage on Planned Parenthood selling aborted baby fetal parts. This is outrageously out of proportion to the offense alleged against Daleiden and sullies the reputation of law enforcement there.

The Republican establishment and Cruz and Trump supporters, need to accept the Republican convention rules as they are written and play fair. There are two rules specifically rule 40, which must not be changed. Candidates who were running for office knew what the rules were when they started and should not seek to alter them like Donald Trump or the Establishment are. Any change to those rules will be made either to ram the nomination through for Donald Trump, or to ram it through for the Republican establishment. And both sides would be wrong to do so. The Establishment despises conservatives and demonstrates that they do not believe in the American heritage. They have no right to decide who should be the nominee. In addition, the Republican Whig Establishment would rather lose to Hillary Clinton than win with Cruz or Trump. If you believe that Hillary is responsible for the rise of ISIS, and promoting socialism, then how could you take any steps to put her in the Oval Office? Later, the Obama administration is saying it may be wrong for landlords to refuse those with criminal records. Now they are saying this is discriminatory and are misusing the Fair Housing Act. This is why we cannot elect a Hillary or Bernie Sanders to the presidency.

Even Donald Trump wants government in the workplace when it comes to tariffs. We already have over 12,000 tariffs in this country which are taxes on the American people. The people who sign them into law most of the time are not thinking of the American people, but of the special interests and lobbyists that want them. Tariffs are nothing more than massive taxes that burden us and destroy other industries. They don’t even tax the countries that we put them on but tax the American citizen. Americans should need to remember the after effects of Smoot Hawley, signed in law in 1930, which contributed to the Great Depression. After that, the coal industry is most abused by the U.S. government. The EPA and its heavy handed regulations are putting thousands of coal mines out of business. Later, Ted Cruz calls in to talk about rule 40 at the Republican convention and why the RNC is wrong about the 2012 rules not applying to the 2016 convention and what will happen to this election if Trump is nominated.

The left and some on the right are advancing utopianism and have been gradually eroding the Constitution and America. To them liberty is immoral except when it benefits their vision of equality and utopia. As conservatives, we should not abandon our principles to chase phony promises or hopes of paradise. Later, if protectionism and tariffs were great then former President Herbert Hoover would have been the greatest president in U.S. history. Massive tariffs don’t work and are counterproductive to the economy. Currently, the U.S. has 12,000 tariffs in place. In addition, tariffs pass the cost of goods onto the consumer, and result in a poorer populace while the money ends up in the government’s hands. Instead of taxing the American people, we need to unleash the American economy. Donald Trump’s policies on trade will kill the economy and jobs. China and Japan are not the problem, but the EPA which is destroying the industrial heartland and other big government agencies are.

The FBI is entering the final phase of its investigation against Hillary Clinton. Hillary has made this country more vulnerable to enemies as a result of her actions with her e-mail server. It’s ironic that the leading candidate for the Democratic Party is at the center of a criminal investigation; Ted Cruz and Donald Trump aren’t. Hillary is qualified to be a prisoner, not a President. After that, Donald Trump’s answer on abortion shows that he doesn’t have a mature and developed position on it. Trump doesn’t have a lot of developed thoughts on many issues. What America needs is a presidential candidate who knows the issues and can stand their ground on matters of principle. We don’t need more deal makers, we need victory and to restore the Republic. On Wednesday's Mark Levin show, Michelle Fields is the latest victim of the smear machine and Trump surrogates in the media. You would expect this kind of attack and war room activity from the Clinton machine and not the new and supposedly conservative media. Then we are told that these people are like the Reagan crowd, but they are not. Neither Ronald nor Nancy Reagan would have put up with this. The conservative Trump surrogates need to stop making fools of themselves by attacking Fields and the Jupiter police. Later, abortion is a substantive issue and Donald Trump should have a dug in position on it by now. The vast majority of pro-life people believe that the abortion provider should be punished and not the mother. This has been a pro-life belief for decades and Trump should be familiar with it. Ronald Reagan could state thoughtfully and articulately what his positions were on every issue. To compare Trump to Reagan is wrong. Finally, elections are just an interlude for the left which must always drive its agenda. If Hillary Clinton wins the presidency she will just continue to drive a hard left agenda that packs the courts with liberal judges and empowers Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.

On Tuesday's Mark Levin show, now we are supposed to be against reporter Michelle Fields, and believe that the Jupiter police in Florida are out to get Donald Trump. Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, grabbed Fields and violently yanked her back on March 8. It is obvious that the police thought there were enough grounds to charge Lewandowski with a misdemeanor. However, instead of Fields being the victim, we are led to believe that Trump and his campaign manager are the victims. Clearly, the Secret Service didn’t feel that Fields was a threat, but Lewandowski had to jump in there to stop her from asking Trump any questions. This behavior on Lewandowski’s part is indefensible. Later, Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin endorses Ted Cruz for president Tuesday. Walker is one of the best governors in America and has credentials in creating jobs and controlling public sector spending.

On Monday’s Mark Levin show, a suicide bomber took the lives of over 70 victims in Pakistan over the weekend, yet President Obama continues to lecture Americans on being tolerant. How many more airports, government buildings, subways, military bases and playgrounds need to be blown up before Obama takes action against Islamic terrorism and ISIS? The U.S. military is now less ready than ever to fight a large scale overseas conflict. The Russians, Chinese and Islamic terrorists love Obama and his administration, because they have done more to destroy the U.S. military than any outside force has. Later, HUD is now forcing Baltimore County to provide affordable housing. This is not about equal access to opportunity, but is about iron fisted social engineering. Affordable housing is a low level Maoist policy. After Mao Zedong took control of China, he sent people out of the cities to live in the more agricultural areas, but this Communist policy failed. Finally, Donald Trump’s negatives are the highest of any presidential candidate even Hillary Clinton. Hillary should be beaten easily, but Trump with his high unpopularity will not be able to do this. It’s not enough to win a general election by winning 37% of the Republican primary voters.

Somebody tried to push this story with Buzz Feed, Politico and the New York Times, but they all passed on it, so why did National Enquirer take it? One thing we know is that the CEO of National Enquirer, David Pecker is close friends with Donald Trump. It is odd that National Enquirer has attacked Trump rivals such as Ben Carson and Marco Rubio, yet has not gone after Trump. There is only one candidate who can save this Republic and that is Ted Cruz. John Kasich is out to sabotage the race and Trump is acting like a leader of a banana republic with his tweets. Conservatives need to be careful and not hand this election to Hillary Clinton by encouraging these antics. Finally, what we lack is proper civilian leadership to deal with ISIS and terrorism. America needs a leader like Pres. Reagan who will not negotiate with these terrorists, but offer a firm ultimatum.

On Thursday’s Mark Levin show, police in France have foiled an advanced terror plot after a search in a suburban neighborhood. Catching terrorists is a very difficult task and tough national security work. If the world used its resources together with a strong U.S. leader, then we could do serious damage to ISIS. Instead, ISIS is taking WWIII to us, and President Obama is disengaged from what is happening while tangoing in Argentina. Unfortunately, it seems that none of our leaders have the will to confront ISIS. While we should be focusing on WWIII, the big story is about Donald Trump’s wife and the wife of Ted Cruz. The Cruz campaign has no connection with the Super PAC that put out the ad attacking Melania Trump, and it is illegal for them to even be in contact. In addition, Ted Cruz never tweeted against or attacked Trump’s wife, but now Trump has used Twitter to attack Heidi Cruz. How do you expect to gain more delegates while attacking another candidate’s wife? It’s time for the frontrunner to start acting like a frontrunner, be presidential and unite the forces behind him. Finally, who is Obama to tell us what works and what doesn’t when it comes to capitalism? Free market capitalism is what created the vast middle class in this country, not socialism nor tariffs. What Obama is promoting is the opposite of capitalism and wealth creation.

On Wednesday's Mark Levin show, our heritage is the American Revolution which promoted liberty and unalienable rights. There is a new American Revolution underway by constitutional conservatives to restore the Republic’s liberty and the principles upon which our nation was founded. Currently, this election is shaping up to be a lost opportunity. It has been hijacked by people who are projecting their own personal motives and ideas on what they think America should be. Substituting one autocracy for another is not going to bring our country back. America needs a leader who can stand for and articulate conservative principles. Later, Ted Cruz has come under withering assault for wanting law enforcement to patrol Muslim neighborhoods. This is not the tyrannical despotism that Pres. Obama claims Cruz’s father fled from, but community policing. Police need every tool available to prevent terrorists from harming us and need to be able to police their communities in a way that effectively fights Islamic terrorism. Finally, wouldn’t it be nice to know how many people have been granted green cards in the last 24 months? Unfortunately, that is not possible, because the Obama Administration has been stonewalling Congress and has failed to release current immigration data since 2013.

Over 30 people were killed in a terror attack in Belgium earlier Monday. It is apparent that we have to fight wars differently, instead of adopting policies that empower the enemy. Europe has surrendered and is a tired, mass welfare state. In Europe they have open borders, the law enforcement has their hands tied behind their back, and their military is weak. Unfortunately, America is headed in the same direction. What America needs is to embark on a crusade for liberty. Also, instead of going to a ballgame in Cuba, President Obama needs to come home to deal with the ISIS threat. He helped to create ISIS and has blood on his hands. After that, the media is now accusing Ted Cruz of being anti-democratic for wanting to beef up surveillance of Muslim neighborhoods in the U.S. The media is wrong and Cruz is right for saying that America needs to know what the threat is and where it is coming from. He has a firm grasp on what the country needs to be doing to combat terrorists and ISIS.

Even Donald Trump doesn’t believe what he is saying went it comes to massive tariffs on foreign goods. Even he invests overseas and had his own line of clothing outside of the country. In addition, we can’t prevent international trade and commerce if we wanted to. Fascist and communist societies have tried and it hasn’t worked so far. All protectionism and massive tariffs do is destroy wealth creation, investment, and US jobs. Also, it’s not Japan, China, or Mexico that is killing us but the EPA which has been killing our smokestack industries. The truth is that big government, including the EPA, has done more to destroy the U.S. economy than China, Japan, and Mexico combined. Later, President Obama wants to have a frank conversation with the dictators who created the situation in Cuba. However, he should really be talking to the Cuban people who are continually oppressed and live in the iron-fisted police state. In the end, it is the people of Cuba who will continue to suffer under the Castro regime. What Cuba needs is a free market system without the tyrannical Castro brothers in charge.

The Republican Establishment could be in deep trouble and is responsible for creating this convention quagmire. If a candidate doesn’t get 1,237 delegates after the first ballot, then the vote goes to the floor. The rules have been in place since the beginning of the Republican Party in the 1850’S. The only exception was when Mitt Romney changed rule 40 which was done to shut conservatives out of challenging Romney’s second term, should he have won the presidency. Romney is voting for Ted Cruz in Utah but he isn’t endorsing Cruz, he’s pushing for an open convention to deny anyone the nomination. The RNC rules are a mess and Romney and his establishment pals are to blame for changing the rule in 2012. Also, Donald Trump needs to take on Ted Cruz in a one on one debate. We have heard enough of his political tweets and want to hear something substantial. In addition, where was Trump during the rise of the Tea Party? He was not around then and all of a sudden he is a genius that has evolved in 18 months. Later, John Kasich likes to give Americans the impression that he is a regular guy. However, Americans should be concerned about his trigger temper and that he has no mathematical path to the Republican nomination.

We already had a populist movement in the 1890’s that was the foundation of progressivism in the United States. This movement produced massive tariffs which lead to the destruction of the farming industry and ultimately helped bring about the Great Depression through the Smoot Hawley tariff. Progressives and populists harangue against trade and demand more power for the government. They both share the same seed of tyranny. They claim to empower the people, but only empower centralized government, and have abandoned free market capitalism and the Constitution. Constitutional conservatives are caught in between the Establishment and the progressive populists and have no place in the Republican Whig Party or the progressive populist movement. Conservatives need to realize that the only way out of this abyss is to embrace constitutional conservatism which embraces liberty. And that is the contrast between Donald Trump’s populism and Ted Cruz’s conservatism.

There’s concern that this Republican nomination will be decided in a brokered convention but it’s not the first time it would have happened and won’t be the last time. It happened notably in 1860 which saw President Abraham Lincoln acquire the number of delegates over William Seward to become the Republican nominee and later President. Another was in 1976 that saw President Gerald Ford get the nomination over Ronald Reagan. Reagan lost, but he went on to influence the Republican Party for a time and the course of history. Later, President Obama wants a third Justice on the Supreme Court to advance his agenda. However, there is no right that Obama has to have his nominee heard in the Senate in the teeth of an election. Nothing in the Constitution obligates the Senate to hold a hearing on any Supreme Court nominee. It’s ironic that Democrats want Republicans to hear Obama’s nominee when their own party members, Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, and John Kerry opposed President George W. Bush’s Supreme Court picks. The Republicans need to stand firm on this issue instead of breaking away.

Meanwhile, Ted Cruz, the only conservative candidate, is caught in the middle of Trump and the Establishment and conservatives are being shut out of the process. Conservatives need to get smart and not pretend that either of those camps represents them. They shouldn’t dabble with either side but need to get behind the only conservative candidate in the race. In addition, Donald Trump has the highest disapproval ratings of any candidate. Even Hillary Clinton’s approval ratings are above Trump’s. This election was our best chance to embrace conservative principles and unite in opposition to the left, yet a good portion of it has been wasted. The Republican nomination has turned into infighting and mudslinging and there is a concerted effort to silence the conservative voice. Three groups have emerged: the establishment, Trump and his followers, and traditional conservatives. These three groups have been in constant struggle and we can't seem to get a one-on-one debate between Ted Cruz and Donald Trump. But it's not too late. Later, Detective Jacai Colson, was murdered recently in Prince George's county, Maryland. President Obama and other liberals should take note that trashing the police has consequences. In addition, Donald Trump is not inciting violence, but groups like Black Lives Matter and Moveon.org are. Trump has been a target of violence by the left. Finally Ted Cruz calls in to discuss the upcoming Super Tuesday primary.

When you worked in the Reagan administration or knew Ronald Reagan, you were always thinking about Nancy Reagan. Nancy was always a gracious, kind, warm-hearted person and a magnificent wife to President Reagan. She would do anything to protect her Ronnie, wanted to know who was loyal to him and who wasn’t, and tried to clean up the White House after the Carter’s left. She was mocked for her efforts but was a great woman along with her husband who helped bring the country back. America has never seen anything like the Reagan’s since and may never see anything like them again. After that, Dr. Ben Carson endorsed Donald Trump for president. Carson didn’t give any substantive reason as to why he endorsed Trump and his endorsement is without purpose. Also, Marco Rubio is not running in Ohio to win and is telling voters to vote for John Kasich to stop Trump. Now Rubio and Kasich are giving up on the primary process and want to drag it to a convention. By doing this, Rubio is committing sabotage. If he wants to stop Trump, Ted Cruz is the one Rubio and Kasich supporters should rally around not vice-versa. Finally, Carly Fiorina calls in to talk about her endorsement of the only conservative candidate in the race - Ted Cruz.

There is a notion out there that if you are fed up with the D.C. politicians that Donald Trump is your guy, but Ted Cruz is also a viable candidate. It’s time for Americans to get behind a solid conservative like Ted Cruz who has a consistent record of standing up for conservative values. Americans need to consider who is going to give them a secure border, a conservative supreme court, and cut the size of government. Also, some Trump supporters are acting like Marxists in their attacks to silence public figures and people in the media who speak against Trump. There tactics will only serve one purpose - to elect Hillary Clinton. Later, President Obama wouldn’t give Stephen Harper the more conservative prime minister of Canada the time of day, but now hosts the leftist, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Conservatism isn’t about purists and those that claim to be conservatives should know better. If the establishment media is really angry about Donald Trump why don’t they come out and endorse Ted Cruz? They attack conservatives as purists yet who is it that they support? How can conservatives be accused of capitulating on their conservatism by the publications that endorsed big-government Republicans like John McCain and Mitt Romney? Later, climate deniers could be in the cross hairs as liberals in D.C. talk about the possibility of criminalizing opposition to climate change. It is incredible that liberals are going to try and criminalize policy differences and try to force the opposition to adopt their agenda. After that, there is no reason for Marco Rubio to stay in this race. He risks ruining his career as a politician, especially if he loses his home state of Florida. This is a disgrace and Obama has no class whatsoever. In addition, Mitt Romney of the Establishment wants the Republican primary dragged to a brokered convention. The elites are once again trying to impose their will on the American people. Later, Marco Rubio’s campaign is so quick to condemn Ted Cruz and is using the liar mantra again. Ted Cruz had nothing to do with discouraging voters to turn out for Rubio and had his lawyer order a cease and desist order. The Rubio folks think they can pull the same trick as Trump in calling Cruz a liar. He and other candidates using this tactic need to grow up. In addition, health care is a right according to Bernie Sanders. If it’s a right then doctors, nurses and hospitals have to treat it as a right. Later, illegal immigration is driven by the Democrat Party, corporatists, and big labor and it benefits everyone except the American people. Currently, there are over 60 million immigrants in America now and nearly 16 million of them are here illegally. The claim is they do jobs that Americans won’t do, but that is a ridiculous argument. This needs to stop as America can’t handle wave after overwhelming wave of immigration. Also, Donald Trump promised to put an end to the corrupt immigration system but now is flip flopping on the H1B visa issue. If this is the issue he is running on, then he needs to stick to it. While winning 7 states is solid, it is by no means a sweep and within states such as Arkansas and Virginia, Trump’s lead was closely contested. Also, when it comes to tariffs, Donald Trump is dead wrong. If you want to protect blue collar and smoke stack industries you don’t use massive tariffs, because they will only destroy the industries they are designed to protect. Later, a public official should take into consideration what the people want and bounce it off the public trust. This idea is based on the Burkean Trustee which is part of a philosophy that embraces the American Revolution. Tonight is Super Tuesday with results coming in from 12 states. In addition, the Establishment hates Ted Cruz and will not get behind him to beat Donald Trump. Their candidate is Marco Rubio, but will not support Cruz if Rubio fails in the primary race. The idea is for everyone to stay in and block Trump from getting the number of delegates he needs to win. In addition, it’s going to be very difficult for Trump to be able to unite the Republican Party. Many constitutional conservatives will not vote for Trump and he needs them to beat the democrat nominee. Trump can’t just rely on Reagan Democrats to win the presidency if he becomes the Republican nominee. Speaking of beating Hillary, Donald Trump’s negatives are absolutely through the roof among Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. His negatives are even higher than Hillary Clinton’s. Later, the case challenging Ted Cruz’s eligibility to run for president was thrown out by an Illinois judge. The birther issue was just another phony issue among others. Ted Cruz also was able to attack Trump successfully, but he seemed to do it from a place of substance and thoughtfulness. Republican candidates are throwing mud at each other and the media is participating in this game. Too many are getting caught up in petty fights while the nation faces the precipice. Americans need to remember that conservatism is the real antidote to the problems that America faces and not squabbling over phony issues. Also, in Iowa, Donald Trump said that he wanted the government to hold onto federal lands to keep them pristine. Now, he is labeling Ted Cruz as sick and a liar for calling him out on his position. After doing this, Trump compares himself to Ronald Reagan. However, Reagan was a man of vision, inspiration, and class which Trump does not show. No matter what place Sen. Marco Rubio comes in, he is the winner. So far Rubio has come in 3rd, 5th and 2nd by a hair in South Carolina, yet the media and Establishment are anointing him as the candidate to beat Donald Trump. Rubio has virtually no accomplishments and his most notorious act was as a Senator where he betrayed his constituents by throwing in with Chuck Schumer and the gang of 8 to advance a pro-amnesty agenda. Also, Ronald Reagan would not have approved of Rubio's character assassination of Ted Cruz. Both Donald Trump and Ted Cruz have accomplishments to lean on but Marco has virtually nothing. Instead of being honest like Jeb Bush, Rubio resorts to Alinskyite tactics to attack Ted Cruz. He accuses Cruz of what he himself has done. In addition, Cruz the man who went to the US Senate time and time again to fight Mitch McConnell and the Establishment is called a liar while Marco Rubio is seen as the victor. Sen. Marco Rubio, was a no show at Thursday’s inaugural Conservative Review Convention. Rubio cancelled 5 minutes before he was scheduled to appear despite Conservative Review offering to adjust the schedule for him to speak. It is clear that he didn’t want to face thousands of conservatives and rubbed it in their noses by sending his surrogates, Sens. Trey Gowdy and Tim Scott to speak for him. This shows a complete lack of class and maturity. Also, Rubio knows that he has been dissembling and acting sneaky about his immigration position. Even to this day he can’t be pinned down on his immigration position. Even those endorsing him such as former Gov. Bobby Jindal and Gov. Nikki Haley, can’t tell us where he stands on it. Later, Jeb Bush has endorsed the Convention of States for the issues of a balanced budget, line item veto, and term limits. Bush is a RINO, but at least he stands by his record and is honest about it unlike Rubio. Also, how can Donald Trump support the health care mandate and claim to be for the private sector? Trump can’t say he supports the repeal of Obamacare, the private sector and support the mandate at the same time. Also, it's obvious right now that Ted Cruz and Donald Trump are in the lead for the GOP nomination. However, the ruling class in the GOP doesn't want Trump or Cruz to get the nomination. They would rather consider the possibility of pooling the delegates of John Kasich, Marco Rubio, and Jeb Bush to block them rather than letting the American people decide. What is scary is that Bush, Kasich, and Rubio don't even have to have more votes than Trump and Cruz combined to do this. The Republican Party is rejecting its own party and has become corrupt. Though they are not same, this is similar to what is going on with the Democrats whose super delegates will pick their anointed candidate regardless of who voters choose. In addition, Americans need to be vigilante because a brokered convention will be the difference between liberty and tyranny. Sen. Ted Cruz calls in to defend himself against Donald Trump and Marco Rubio. For one, Trump keeps threatening these frivolous lawsuits against Cruz. Donald Trump’s lawyers are numb-skulls if they move forward with a lawsuit against Ted Cruz. A defamation lawsuit against Cruz brought by Trump would be thrown out of court. Trump is used to getting his way, by threatening lawsuits and it won’t work with Cruz who is inviting Trump to sue him. Many who support Trump would have supported Ross Perot in the 90’s. Also, the Republican establishment has now gotten behind Marco Rubio. It is made even more obvious because now Gov. Nikki Haley in South Carolina has endorsed him. The establishment is willing to elect Rubio in spite of his support of the Gang of 8 and pledged not to immediately rescind Obama’s executive order on amnesty. Later, the Democrat Party, which tried to destroy Justice Clarence Thomas and blocked Miguel Estrada, are pulling the race card yet again. It’s time that Senate Republicans push back against this race baiting and not hold any hearings for Obama’s Supreme Court nominees. Finally, Congressman Louie Gohmert calls in to discuss his Congressional race and his opponents nasty ads against him.

Nothing in the Constitution, constitutional convention or ratification debates demands that Congress bring up a judicial nomination. However, President Obama is in a rush to replace Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia with a radical leftist and is trying to pack the court on his way out the door. Senate Republicans need to stop Obama from doing this and need to be more forceful in their opposition. Right now, Senators Mitch McConnell and Charles Grassley are giving passive opposition to Obama. These senators are part of the same crowd that forfeited Congress’s power of the purse and power to make Treaties to the executive branch. Later, Sen. Marco Rubio is wrong in accusing Sen. Ted Cruz when it comes to his record on immigration. Cruz didn’t support amnesty, and did everything he could to stop the Gang of 8 bill. He even lobbied the House Republicans to defeat it. Rubio payed lip service to opposing amnesty and broke his promise to the American people, while Cruz kept his word on opposing amnesty.

Justice Antonin Scalia, who passed away on Saturday, needs to be praised for his service to the United States and our Constitution. Scalia was a constitutional originalist who sought to define his rulings based on what the Founding Fathers wanted for America. He was one of the greatest justices to serve on the court. Now, President Obama would like nothing more than to take over the Supreme Court with his own nominee, like he has with other aspects of government. It is the constitutional obligation of the Republicans to refuse to give their consent to any would-be justice that Obama would nominate. Senator Ted Cruz announced that he will lead a filibuster to an Obama nominee if a vote makes it to the Senate floor. Also, the Donald Trump campaign should provide some evidence that President George W. Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Bush didn’t lie about it and was not responsible for 9/11 as Trump says. Trump owes the Bush family, our soldiers and the nation an apology. Finally, Senator Jeff Sessions calls in to talk about to talk about the passing of Antonin Scalia and the gang of 8.

Democrats including Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders will just pile on top of what President Obama has done. They will support more of his policies that amount to nothing less than socialism. Socialism is driven by elites and pseudo intellectuals because they hate the people and believe that they are better than them. In socialist countries, there is poverty, immorality, and imprisonment. Health care is a perfect example of socialism’s failure because while centralized governments can guarantee health coverage, they can’t guarantee quality and timely healthcare. Also, the great middle class was not created by centralized governments but by capitalism. Ironically, folks like Woodrow Wilson, FDR, Linden Johnson, Obama, Sanders and Hillary are the real robber barons who are stealing from the middle class with their Marxist policies. Later, Senator Ted Cruz calls in to talk about Donald Trump’s attacks on conservatives and his run against the Washington cartel.

The greatest outrage of this election is not the candidates who switch positions but the lack of justice in the case of Hillary Clinton and her email scandal. She needs to be pulled in front of a grand jury and questioned about her violation of the Espionage Act and other federal statutes. Instead of trailing the campaign in an orange jump suit she should be in prison in one. Also, Governor John Kasich will continue to remind us that his father was a mail man and how he balanced budgets. He claims to be the greatest governor in Ohio’s history. However, he expanded Medicaid to the point where the bank of Ohio will be broken in 5 years. Kasich says that we can’t leave people behind but is leaving behind the people in his state whose budget he destroyed. Later, DDT needs to make a comeback and would be an effective weapon against the Zika virus here and in the third world. The research is on the side of DDT as being safe for the environment, yet that didn’t stop the EPA and environmental activists such as Rachel Carson from stirring up hysteria over it. Thanks to them it was banned and millions in the third world have died as a result. Finally, Obama has thrown in with Hamas and there is no question that he is against Israel and what it stands for.

The Tea Party movement was not populist, nationalist or agrarian, but was and is a movement of patriots. The rise of the Tea Party movement was a result of what George W. Bush did at end of his term and what Pres. Obama did at the beginning of his. Americans should consider where, Jeb Bush, John Kasich, and Donald Trump were, during the Tea Party revolution. Trump was donating money to the establishment Republicans and Democrats during that time. Senator Ted Cruz was a child of this movement and was faithful to supporting its conservative principles. Also, we have the establishment on the run in this election. Americans have a choice between remaking the Republican Party as a populist socialist party or remaking it into a constitutionalist, conservative party. In addition, the U.S. doesn’t need another tariff war like those caused by the Smoot-Hawley tariff, which helped make the Great Depression worse. Americans should look at history before getting behind a Trump or Bernie Sanders tariff. Finally, two Hartford County sheriffs were murdered in Maryland today. These officers and all police officers face miscreants, malcontents, and criminals every day and Americans need to show them respect and honor.

Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders are the winners of the New Hampshire primary. John Kasich will come in second with Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio right behind him. This means that the establishment is still divided and takes the attention away from Ted Cruz and Donald Trump. Also, Michael Bloomberg is seriously considering running as a third party candidate. It may be a good thing for Republicans or it may not matter at all. After that, President Obama is in a rush to destroy this country and moving quickly to destroy the Constitution. He continues to advance his despotic agenda and the Supreme Court has helped him most of the time. His agencies, the Department of Labor, the EPA and others are up to no good. This is why we need a conservative for President who will be true to conservative principles. Finally, Donald Trump is wrong when it comes to defining conservatism as being just about attitude. Conservatism is about an underlying philosophy where the Constitution, limited government, and Judeo-Christian values take center stage.

Gov. Chris Christie has made a habit on the campaign trail of touting his executive experience as a governor and taunting the senators in the race for their lack of experience. There's just one problem: his record as Governor of New Jersey is terrible. Christie should stand on his own two feet and defend his so called record, instead of trying to eviscerate Sen. Marco Rubio, who is clearly more conservative than he is. Christie is over exaggerating his support for conservative principles and positions. However, this is nothing new for him; he was all bravado in his campaign but backed down over opposition when it came to nominating NJ Supreme Court Justices. In addition, Gov. Christie failed to fix the budget and pass pension reform. Later, Ted Cruz first had the idea to build a wall back on the border in 2011, before Donald Trump, and has been the only candidate whose opposition to amnesty has been unequivocal. Finally, the mission of the Democratic Party is to advance a statist and Marxist agenda that destroys the civilized society. Conservatives must take the conservative message to young people who are being exploited by the authoritarianism that endangers their future.

Sen. Lindsey Graham isn’t going anywhere in the Presidential race and is now saying the most vile things about Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. He talks about Cruz as an opportunist dragging down Republicans, yet he himself is dragging down two Republicans, Cruz and Trump. Instead of running down fellow party members, he should be going after Bernie Sanders, an open Marxist, or Hillary Clinton an in-the-closet Marxist. Lindsey Graham is the quintessential problem in Washington D.C and was responsible for America’s recent foreign policy failures in the Middle East, and voting for every nominee that President Obama has put forth. Also, in a better time in America, Bernie Sanders wouldn’t be a U.S senator, but now he is embraced by the Democratic Party. In addition, Hillary Clinton thinks she is not establishment, because she is a woman. She forgets that she is not the only woman in the race as Carly Fiorina is running on the Republican side. Later, Obama is bragging about the U.S. unemployment rate, however, his numbers do not include how many people have been pushed out of the work force. We now live in a country that is under a soft tyranny where we are lied to with phony stats. Finally, actor and former NFL player Fred Dryer calls in to give his take on Super Bowl 50 and the Presidential race.

Conservatives have a real opportunity to explain to the American people why their agenda is way more important than the lefts. Right now, Republicans are throwing away the opportunity to reach young people and other Americans with a conservative message. Instead, they and their media surrogates are focusing on tweets. Why not discuss and articulate real issues like an over reaching EPA, national security, and immigration? That was the problem with Mitt Romney and John McCain, they claimed conservatism but couldn’t articulate conservative principles and issues. Also, there are no legitimate reasons not to secure the border. America needs to know if immigrants are enemies or friends, what their visas say, when they come in and when they leave. We need to fix Congress which is following the administration in failing to enforce immigration laws. Later, Brandon Judd of the National Border Patrol Council, says we have open border amnesty now which brings in more criminals and gangs like MS-13. President Obama and his administration are usurping federal immigration law and nobody cares about it.

Now we have a controversy over a tweet and an email that none of us heard about on Monday night. The idea that swarms of people who were going to vote for Ben Carson decided not to because of an email put out by a Ted Cruz staffer is crazy and false. Someone, from the Ted Cruz campaign just retweeted out what CNN said. There is no investigation needed here by the media. It turns out Marco Rubio's people were pushing the same rumor about Carson. Also, Donald Trump who was attacking Ben Carson a few months ago is now defending Carson. Americans should take note that it was Trump’s attacks towards Ben Carson in November that were responsible for his fall in the polls not the Cruz email and tweet. This is just another clown show that is being run by the new and old media to take down Cruz. Americans need to stop letting the media play them and realize that America doesn’t have many chances left to elect a conservative candidate. Later, Rick Santorum has dropped out of the election race and endorsed Marco Rubio. Also, President Obama says that the best way to fight terrorism is to show that we don’t suppress Islam. No, the best way to fight terrorism is to kill them! Finally, Carly Fiorina calls in to discuss the next Republican debate hosted by ABC News and whether or not she’ll be on that stage.

The news coverage of what took place in Iowa Monday night has been dishonest and predictable. Fox News and others are making Marco Rubio, who came in third, look like the winner instead of Ted Cruz who was the actual winner. Cruz was supposed to come in second but he won despite attacks from the crony capitalists, the media, the pollsters, and the establishment. Cruz literally beat the Iowa cartel but it’s a non-story. In addition, there is no question that on most cases that Rubio is a conservative. However, Rubio supports an extreme interventionist approach to foreign policy and tried to pass the Gang of 8 amnesty bill. Rubio was elected to the Senate in 2010 to promote conservative policies in Washington and broke his pledge on amnesty. Finally, the things said about Cruz and other conservatives in this race were similarly said about Ronald Reagan. Reagan was despised during his election yet won in a landslide.

Dan Bongino, contributing editor of Conservative Review, fills in for Mark. There are two parties in America, one that believes in economic freedom, the Constitution and limited government, and the other that hates what America stands for. The modern Democrat Party falls into the latter category in America as they espouse ideas that are anti-freedom and socialist. Now the Democrats are fielding an openly socialist candidate, Bernie Sanders. The Democrat Party is no longer the party of JFK but of the radical left. Also, the left is trying to get away from the fact that they support tyrants sometimes. They are tacticians and realize that the hard socialism of the Soviet Union will not be accepted by Americans so they promote a softer version, which taxes the production system to death. However, evidence of their success is very hard to find. Just look at Social Security, which will be bankrupt by 2034. Conservatives need to combat the left with the ideas of limited government that have make America the greatest nation on Earth.

This has never been a battle between Donald Trump and Fox News. Trump made a calculated political decision, not to avoid Megyn Kelly, but to avoid the debate format where he might be the target, when the polls show him leading in Iowa just days before the caucus. Trump believes it is too risky to participate in a debate that would target him. Now, Ted Cruz is going to be the one to bear most of the media scrutiny and Trump will get a free pass. Also, if not now when will the Republican candidates take their case to the American people? This election is not about the candidates but about us. The Democrats are so extreme and President Obama’s policy is so unpopular that its perfect timing for Republican candidates to take a conservative agenda to the American people, yet this is being lost. Instead of focusing on real issues, candidates and supposed conservative media outlets are focusing on attacks. Finally, Obama is now joining in boycotting goods from the West Bank in Israel. This type of campaign tactic is very Nixonian. It is remarkable that Trump has done this and still holds onto his supporters. However, if he doesn’t take the highroad he could lose. He is showing that he is not conservative but an agrarian populist nationalist. Trump and other candidates should stop attacking each other and talk about the issues. Ethanol is causing enormous damage to the third world and driving food prices up. Part of Abbott’s agenda includes, prohibiting Congress from regulating activity that occurs in only one state, requiring Congress to balance its budget, and prohibit Administrative agencies from creating federal law. Some conservatives would have you believe that only part of Article V is true. All of it is true because the framers put it in the Constitution as a fire alarm should Americans need to harness an out of control government. Later, the NRA seeks to protect the 2nd amendment and educates people on firearms, so why does President Obama hate them? What’s worse, being a member of an organization that encourages responsible gun ownership or a member of the Democrat Party, which is destroying America?

Our conservative cause is liberty, faith and citizenship and what’s being discussed today has nothing to do with any of that. The plethora of Conservative writers should be advancing conservative principles more than ever instead of chewing up other conservatives over unimportant issues, like a Ted Cruz birther issue. Unfortunately, conservative news outlets are caught up in their own quicksand while the liberal agenda marches on. No one is going to knock Ted Cruz or any other candidate out of the election because of their citizenship. Also, Marco Rubio and Mike Huckabee differ in some serious ways from conservatives but both support the Convention of States. In addition, the Convention of States is a process that Americans can use to take the country back. It may take time, but it’s still there and is an effective means to overrule big government and executive power plays. Instead of listening to all the conservative naysayers Americans need to realize the facts and effectiveness of Article V. The Founding Fathers had foresight when they put Article V in the Constitution and Americans need to use it. Later, Congressman Dave Brat of Virginia’s 7th District calls in to talk about his candidacy and confirms how the big government Republican machine in VA is gearing up to defeat him.

Both Senator Ted Cruz and President Obama meet the natural born citizen test of the Constitution for the presidency. Under U.S. law a person whose mother is an American citizen at the time of their birth is a citizen at birth. Both men meet the natural born citizenship test of the Constitution. The Framers of the Constitution were concerned with loyalty and allegiance to the country not with preventing rightful Americans from claiming their citizenship. Also, it’s time for Japan and South Korea to be armed with nuclear weapons so that China and North Korea can be contained. Americans should not forget that it was liberals and President Bill Clinton that allowed the North Koreans to gain nuclear weapons. Later, the House passed an Obamacare repeal bill through reconciliation. Republicans should be praised for doing the right thing and need to fight for this each and every time.

President Obama is shedding tears for gun control proposals that will not protect Americans from mass shootings and terrorist attacks. Did Obama cry when Kate Steinle was killed by a repeat offender illegal immigrant in San Francisco? Did he cry after the mass murders in San Bernardino? He is on a mission against the American people and attacking the civil society through gun control and his massive amount of regulations issued. Obama persists in executive overreach, the courts mostly uphold his decisions, and the Republican Congress is doing nothing to stop him. Also, the praetorian-guard media is reporting dutifully on Obama’s tears and consistently tow his and the liberal Democrat line. The media either watches Obama or promotes him. Yet, the vast majority of them do not own guns, don’t understand them and could care less. Later, John Lott, President of the Crime Prevention Research Center calls in to discuss Obama's latest executive order and how Obama told him in 2008 that people should not be able to own guns.

What America needs to do is to secure the border and not produce more gun laws and regulations. The more gun control there is the less able Americans will be to be able to fight back. Yet, President Obama is continuing his executive overreach by ordering more regulations through executive order. His move is not about gun control but about changing the constitutional government of the U.S to a centralized government with unlimited powers. His thinking is in line with Woodrow Wilson, who utterly dismissed the Declaration of Independence and wanted unrestrained centralized rule. In addition, Obama shows his hypocrisy when it comes to gun control as he released criminals who had committed armed crimes with guns. Conservatives need to take the argument back from the left and Obama by discussing Obama's violation of the Constitution and exposing Hillary Clinton's phony war on women. So far, only Donald Trump has had the courage to highlight Bill Clinton's sexual misconduct and it's working. If only Republicans and their media surrogates. would have the gumption to follow suit.

The Republicans have become handmaidens to President Obama through a massive omnibus spending bill that brings spending hikes across the board and brings in special interest tax breaks. 2 weeks ago, the House and the Senate voted to destroy your children and grandchildren's future with this spending bill and the Republicans got nothing in return because they are afraid of a government shutdown. The fear of default is not a valid concern as it has never happened during the 18 other shutdowns, but America is in danger of defaulting if we continue on this path of massive spending. Republican establishment types think that giving into Democrats will win them the Presidency. However, the way you win the Presidency is to stand up on principle. Also, Marco Rubio's former stance on immigration and opposition to amnesty has not been mentioned once by any establishment Republican media or commentators. Rubio has adopted Chuck Schumer's position on immigration; if he had stuck to his principles he would have been a great leader. Later, Sen. Tom Cotton calls in to discuss the massive spending bill passed by the Congress and the Senate. The Mark Levin show would like to wish everyone a very happy new year!
