After spin and corporate media, finally a good source for the truth.

The Democracy Now podcast takes a look at current news events in the United States and around the world. The first segment of the show sounds just like a news broadcast, with the host simply conveying information about the day's events. Then the show takes a more in-depth look at a few chosen stories by either providing analysis or conducting interviews.
On the whole, this podcast sounds very professional and covers a great deal of material in each one hour episode. One thing that might bother some people, however, is that the host and her guests are clearly against the current administration and the President's policies. So if you are politically conservative, you might not like this podcast very much.

This is the left wing media, February 17, 2006

For people that think the media has a left wing bias, they need to listen to Democracy Now! This is left wing radio and it attacks the Bush administration and our government relentlessly. I don't listen to it on a daily basis as sometimes they get liberals on the show that are a bit bleeding heart. I like a Amy Goodman a lot as the host though. Whenever the Bush administration does cross the line I like to tune in just to hear what Democracy Now! has to say. And they cover global politics of the people where most mainstream outlets fall silent.

Part 2: "Who Killed Che? How the CIA Got Away with Murder": New Book Ties Johnson Admin to Che Death
Tue, Feb 07, 2012
In an extended interview, co-authors Michael Ratner and Michael Steven Smith discuss the life of Cuban revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guevara and the chilling story behind his murder by the Bolivian military. In their book, "Who Killed Che?" Ratner and Smith draw on previously unpublished U.S. government documents to argue the CIA played a critical role in the killing. [includes rush transcript]
