Inside Europe: Clearing the Jungle in Calais

The migrant camp known as the "Calais Jungle" is now a smoking rubbish heap; set afire by departing residents and protesters when authorities demanded the site be closed down. Several thousand people who were squatting in the camp took up the French government's offer to be registered and relocated to safe accommodation in other parts of France. But no one's yet sure what's happened to the others.

In the historic city of Bruges, a pipe dream has become a reality. Literally. A new pipeline has just opened which is pumping thousands of liters of beer from a brewery in the center of town to a bottling plant on its outskirts. The Belgian brewery has gone underground to make its success sustainable both in terms of business and to preserve the fragile environment of this UNESCO protected city.

Inside Europe: Hope for Ukraine's stalled peace accords?

The leaders of Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France held a five hour summit in Berlin on Wednesday night to try and break the deadlock over the war in eastern Ukraine. German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, said the summit didn't achieve any miracles. But the leaders of the four countries have agreed to draw up a roadmap by the end of November, to get the 2015 Minsk peace accords back on track.
