Fingers point back to yourself!!!
Reviewer jorce913

With all the consternation in my life recently I have felt like an outcast of sorts because I am a goal setter... a dreamer... someone who wants to do better. I thought there surely is something wrong with me until I listened to this broadcast. It all became crystal clear it is NOT me.... it is those with whom I have been associating with for years. All the while they are saying all things negative, they are not realizing while they are pointing at YOU with one finger.... there are 3 more fingers pointing back at themselves. I became somewhat withdrawn because I only had one resource for venting and I didn't want to become a burden. This lesson from Joel Osteen hit home base. Made me take a step outside the circle and assess those I have been associating with... they have been the poison for me all this time. You can love someone but don't allow them to be your downfall because they either disagree with you or they themselves are not successful. That's where YOU have to take control of your own destiny... regardless of the nay-sayers. This podcast was like a light going on for me. Major AH-HA moment!! HIGHLY recommend EVERYONE at least LISTEN to this and take heed! Then get yourself back on track for controlling your own destiny!!

Living Content

Sun, Apr 13, 2014

Wherever you are in life right now, there is something you can be grateful for. Yet, many people have decided that they are not going to be happy until a certain goal is met or until they "have a certain thing or someone." That's why Joel wants to remind you of the godly principle of living life in contentment and being grateful for where you are— right now. While it's good to have goals, we have to make sure that we are not depending on others or outside situations to fulfill us in order to be happy. Discover how God wants you to be content in whatever situation you find yourself, and how He will use every season for His glory and for our good.

Have A Positive Mindset

info@joelosteen.com (Joel Osteen) Author: info@joelosteen.com (Joel Osteen)
Sun, Apr 06, 2014

Are you ready to live a more fulfilling, faith-filled, prosperous life? Then let Joel inspire and teach you the importance of having a positive mindset and learn how to stay in control of your mind. Scripture teaches in Colossians 3:2 to set your mind on the higher things and keep it set. The higher things are the positive things. You see, you control the doorway to your mind. Yet many times, people live on autopilot, letting their thoughts just roam free. But if you want to become everything God has created you to be, you have to choose the right thoughts. Remember, when you believe, your faith is released for God to do all things!

Be Comfortable With Who You Are

info@joelosteen.com (Joel Osteen) Author: info@joelosteen.com (Joel Osteen)
Sun, Mar 30, 2014

Are you comfortable enough to play the role God has given you? Many people live their life comparing themselves to others, feeling "less than," inadequate or unhappy with their gifts and talents. But Joel wants to remind you of the importance of appreciating and accepting the gifts God has already given and entrusted to you. John 3:27 says, "A man must be content to receive the gift which is given him." As you use your energy to be the best that you can be and enhance what God has given you instead of comparing or competing, you will enjoy your life more, and there will be more satisfaction and fulfillment. If you'll use what you do have, God will breathe on it. His anointing will cause you to accomplish more than you could ever imagine!
