Holocaust survivor John Fieldsend talks to Peter Baker about his remarkable escape from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia, and his subsequent conversion to Christianity. Choosing baptism over bar mitzvah Revd Fieldsend became a naturalised British citizen and was ordained in the Anglican Church. Later identifying himself as a Messianic Jew, Revd Fieldsend now sees himself as a bridge between both Christian and Jewish communities.
