Write a Review of Dr. Alan Rubin's Healthcast Podcast

personalmedia, February 17, 2006
Reviewer: personalmedia from Indiana

Dr. Rubin’s Healthcast Podcast covers important topics on health and disease. The healthcast I reviewed was on the topic of why you should stop smoking. He talks about the global use and effects of using tobacco. Rubin talks about the health problems associated with tobacco use. He highlights the way a smoker’s behavior affects their children and why this is perhaps the best reason to stop smoking. Rubin cites statistics and is well-prepared with facts and preventative health tips.

He presents the information in a non-judgmental way, so that smokers may be encouraged to change their smoking lifestyle. This may be a good healthcast for parents to encourage their teens to listen to who are temped to try tobacco use. The only downfall of these podcasts is that though informational, they aren’t entertaining. Maybe Dr. Rubin could find a way to spice things up a bit for his future podcasts.
