Desi Arnaz Jr. who introduces the series definitely has the better speaking voice. Guy Finley comes across with a muffled, unpleasant voice quality that drones on. His habit of repeating phrases with overt emphasis is grating as well. It is tiresome to listen to. Adding to the tiresomeness is the convoluted language he uses. His lessons for living make no logical progression as a "train of thought" usually does. Trying to make sense of his "wisdom" is exhausting. Is life really this hard to figure out? I was very releived to turn him off and go take on the day. How ironic that the very discussion he designed to lead us away from depression, began to depress me immensley by his overbearing banality.
Whew! Run the other way.
