The Sound Medicine podcast is a weekly radio show sponsored by the IU School of Medicine and WFYI, at 90.1 FM. It focuses on health topics like - the health deterioration of victims of Hurrican Katrina, the presence of lung cancer in the news for some time, the effectiveness of herbal medicines, the overview of Parkinson's disease (a degenerative neurological disorder), breast cancer, and safe excercise routines, to name a few. This podcast is for those who need their regular dose of the latest in the news of health. It has soothing, pleasant music in the beginning.
The audio quality is good, even including the interviews being held. The narration is clear, considering that WFYI news channel hosts this podcast.

I found this to be a very interesting podcast for both those in the medical profession and those who are just curious about aspects of medicine. The shows are conducted in a public radio fashion with some audio documentaries on topics and some interviews with those in medical practice. Many amazing treatments for diseases are discussed and described. It's a very good medical podcast.
