The host discusses ways that the influences will directly affect our moods and the cosmic energies of the universe. The host teaches through this podcast, the strengths and weaknesses that the planets may bring out in individuals. He gives practical advice for the use of astrology.

Anyone interested in astrology will find this in-depth daily glimpse of astrology to be intriguing and educational. The podcasts are brief but packed with information. Swine Flu Fears - Jupiter in Aquarius - Hope and Optimism Returns

The recent swine flu fear is just a challenge to out collective hope. Jupiter has been Debilitated and with the North Node since the end of November 2008 - bringing a sense of fear and scarcity into the domain of life where we are otherwise hopeful. For more than three months Jupiter will occupy Aquarius, bringing expanded Ideas and connections to culture and each other.

Friday, March 2, 2007.  The moon enters Leo today, in the Nakshatra of Magha, ruled by Ketu, the South node.  This Nakshatra is related to our ancestors and honoring sacred traditions.  The sacred traditions formed us and made us who we are.  Whether they be our genetic family or our cosmic family.  In this Nakshatra we learn the value of our heritage, how to sit upon the throne with dignity, humility and strength.  Friday is ruled by Venus who is exalted in Pisces.  This shows many creative and spiritual possibilities today.  We are one day from a lunar eclipse, feeling emotionally charged and uncertain.  The sun is joined Rahu in Aquarius, with retrograde Mercury, showing some restlessness and anxiety about our life direction.

 Thursday, March 1, 2007. The moon is in Cancer today, in the Nakshatra of Aslesha, ruled by Mercury.  Thursday is ruled by Jupiter and Cancer is ruled by the moon.  Aslesha is a Nakshatra related to compulsions and emotional obsessions.  When these compulsions are channeled creatively there can be a lot of psychic influence and insight.  But as with all serpentine energy, there is a potentially toxic and volatile nature.  In Aslesha the mind gets entangled in an emotionally obsessed swoon.  Learning to be more lighthearted and flexible will go far today.  An exact trinal aspect from Jupiter occurs at about 1 p.m. Pacific time.  Thus from about 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. today expect an untangling on your emotional knots.  The moon will approach Saturn in the sky also today leading to some heaviness and emotional constriction.

Friday, January 5, 2007. The moon is still in cancer today, in the Nakshatra of Aslesha, ruled by Mercury. Cancer is ruled by the moon and Friday is ruled by Venus. A nice Venus opposition to the moon will support relationships today, as they did yesterday. Mercury is still combust, in fact severely combust today just been experiencing frustration and jealousy and has not difficulty expressing those feelings. Be careful exaggerating through speech today. Notice how others are focusing on him the more dramatic side of life. You can make a more creative choice however.

The moon enters cancer today, in the Nakshatra of Pushyami, who is ruled by Saturn. Cancer is ruled by the moon and Thursday is ruled by Jupiter. When the moon enters its own sign of cancer, there are a lot of emotions being developed. The next couple of days our sensitivities will be at the forefront. A good day to feed others today. Stabilizing the emotions in traditional ways will be important. The favorable Jupiter trinal aspect will support creative expansion and teaching today.

Thursday, November 9, 2006. The Moon is still in Gemini today, in the nakshatra of Punarvasu, ruled by Jupiter. There will be five planets in Jupiter's nakshatra's today, and thursday is ruled by Jupiter. This will be an excellent day for learning of all sorts and teaching as well. Jupiter is in Scorpio where he is interested in digging deeply into the truth and exposing corruption. We have not been feeling as physically powerful for the last couple of weeks, with the Sun debilitated. We need to keep hanging in there with graceful communication, and respectful wishes to those many people who are really pissing us off right now.

Thursday, October 26, 2006. Moon enters Sagittarius today, in the nakshatra Mula who is related to Vedic Goddess Kali. Jupiter is the ruler of Thursday, and also the ruler of Sagittarius does a powerful Jupiter energy today. Both Jupiter and Saturn are weak and new residence in Scorpio and Leo respectively. Jupiter in Scorpio will take on the quality of digging deeply into an emotional and spiritual reservoir so as to bring out a Diamond of teachings that lead to your true self. The nakshatra lord of Mula is Ketu, bringing a strict nature and desire to study the deeper mysteries in life.

Monday Aries (Bharani) Moon | Mars | Venus 5th Tithi (Moon - Administering medicine). Moon is an Aries today, will buy Mars. This a fiery and active mentality will be experienced today. Mars is in the sign of Virgo with the ruler of Virgo, Mercury, which brings powerful discrimination and a detail oriented mind today. Gains are possible today through writing and clearly defining your goals. Also, a favorable aspect from Jupiter is also supporting social expansion through fair-minded and even dealing with others. The nakshatra of Bharani is one of preserving our energy and respecting our limitations, yet this may bring some melancholy.
