The Crushing Grape Podcast is a show aimed at helping regular people learn about wine. It is not for those who aspire to be wine-tasting snobs, but rather for those who just want to know a little bit more about the bottles they're putting on their dinner tables.
The host is very likable, and was able to share his knowledge without talking down to the listener. He was well-prepared for the podcasts, and avoided sounding stiff and robotic.
I am a casual wine drinker, which makes me part of this podcast's target audience. I learned a lot from the episodes that I listened to. The next time I go to the store to buy a bottle of wine, it will be with a lot more confidence now that I have listened to the Crushing Grape podcast!

The Crushing Grape Podcast is a highly enjoyable look at how to enjoy wine in your everyday life. I personally know little about wine but I found the host friendly and knowledgeable about the topic. The podcast that covered the topic of cooking with wine was especially interesting and practical.
The show co-hosted with Anaruk’s brother-in-law brings an element of lively discussion and debate to the show. Listening to the sparring and humor between the hosts is intriguing, but for a wine novice the topics were a bit difficult to follow. The content of this show was stocked full of opinions and commentary but little practical information was gleaned from the program.
The Crushing Grape needs to search for a balance between these two formats.
