Every weekday from 11:00 AM to noon, Francis Schott and Mark Pascal host the Restaurant Guys, a show that's as informative as it is fun. Francis and Mark own Stage Left Restaurant in the heart of New Brunswick's theatre district, and, along with their expertise in a wide range of fine dining and wine matters, they bring to the table humor and intelligent conversation, perfect for the midday listener. The show is currently broadcast from WCTC-1450AM in Central New Jersey.
The show includes discussions and interviews with famous chefs, restaurateurs, wine and food writers, critics; and the Guys even give stuff away occasionally.

The Restaurant Guys is a podcast that deals with food topics. Each show has a specific topic that they address. Past topics have included BBQ, fine dining, American caviar, and even mad cow disease.
The hosts, Francis and Mark, are very likable. They do a daily radio show in the New Jersey area, and their experience with this medium is readily apparent. They are funny, engaging, and they keep the show moving along without a lot of the awkward transitions that you get from the amateur podcasts.
The topics themselves are pretty interesting. On one of the shows I listened to, the hosts talked about the differences between grilling and barbecuing. Then they discussed a huge BBQ Fair in New York City and provided interviews with some of the "pit masters" and some of the fair goers. Their website also provides many related links for each show and topic.
Overall, I think this is a fun show to listen to. You'll probably learn a lot of interesting tidbits about food from the Restaurant Guys.

I really enjoy listening to The Restaurant Guys. The hosts, Francis Schott and Mark Pascal, are great together. They have an easy going manner and you feel as if you are listening to a very interesting dinner conversation. They bring in a good mix of guests, such as chefs who started out catering on rivers to a guy making wine in Bel Aire. Anyone listening to this podcast will learn something new after each show. Francis and Mark talk about everything related to food, from how to store wine to the Trans fat in Oreos. People in the restaurant industry will also gain some tips and insight as Fancis and Mark are owners of a restaurant and frequently talk about their experience.
The sound quality was great, just as if you were listening to them on the radio. I highly recommend this show to anyone looking to listen to a pleasent and informative show.
