Caroline Thomas Harnsberger (1902-1991) attended Northwestern University, the Julliard School of Music and the Conservatory de Paris, studying violin. Ms. Harnsberger was a personal friend of Mark Twain's lone surviving daughter, Clara Clemens Samossoud, from 1942 until Clara's death in 1962. This relationship provided Ms. Harnsberger access to Mark Twain's unpublished notes, letters, his marginal commentary in his personal library of theological book, and also hear about his spoken thoughts and philosphies--making this her book a treasure trove of Mark Twain's thoughts on God and His Creations. Her other books include Mark Twain at your Fingertips,
A Friendly Chat with G. B. Shaw, and A Pilot's Ready Reference.
