Dan Mages was raised in Southern California. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Master’s College with a BA in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Bible Exposition. He’s traveled to over 26 countries on service related projects. He received a Clear California Teaching Credential from Cal State San Bernardino and taught English for a combined 3 years at both Coachella Valley and Norco High School. He attended Fuller Theological Seminary for two years and graduated with an M.A. Interdisciplinary/Comparative Studies with an emphasis in World Religions, Christianity and Ethics from Claremont School of Theology. He has presented at several theological conferences and has been published in A Journal for the Radical Reformation. He is a former youth director at the First Congregational Church of Riverside and community organizer with Inland Congregations United for Change. Dan founded Hunger Truth, a project designed to apply intellectual honesty toward religion, politics, health, the environment. He holds weekly gatherings called Truth Conversations where experts and professionals conversationally share their perspectives and allow participants to dialogue with them about their expertise.
