Whooper Happenings (whoopingcranes.net) is a student-safe source reporting in audio podcasts and photos the activity and events affecting the highly endangered Whooping cranes in North America. Those who are working to save this species and also establish a new migrating flock (WCEP, the Whooping Crane Eastern Partnership) are featured regularly and the ultralight-led migration of captive-raised Whooper chicks each fall by Operation Migration is a culmination of these efforts.
