This is a good intro to the opera Madame Butterfly. While the story to this opera is quite simple and the characters rather two dimensional, I think one of the strengths of the opera might be the visual elements which obviously aren't able to be captured here. The music is nice if one can get beyond the misogyny and racism of the piece.
