L.A. Theatre Works pulled together a great cast to put on Arthur Miller's classic "The Crucible". The hysteria is high in these superb performances as the town of Salem is shrowded in the darkness of witchcraft, which is actually just a lot of fear, paranoia, and hatred that gets out of hand. The sound design is great as all the overlapping dialogue really amounts to a terrifying atmosphere of accusation. The play works well as an allegory for both the 1950s Red Scare and the global witch hunt for Terror we're currently crusading on.
