Fanny Price and Mansfield Park, September 02, 2009
Reviewer: bex
Mansfield Park is very different from Jane Austen's other novels. Its heroine, Fanny Price, is much more serious and less playful than, say, Elizabeth Bennet or Emma Woodhouse. I love this novel, and I think it is misunderstood by a lot of critics. Listen to this audio book instead of seeing the 1999 film version, which is pretty terrible.
