The two guided meditations on this recording are designed as progessive interventions toward more depth of relaxation and mindfulness, utilizing techniques of healing from the areas of mind-body medicine which include guided imagery, mindful relaxation, music, positive affirmations, healing light imagery, and the power of unconditional love, forgiveness, and gratitude. Anne Milligan created these meditations as a synthesis of her very successful work with clients in the areas of hypnosis, the spirituality of inner healing, guided imagery, EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness meditation in therapy. Since the release of this recording in 2007, these meditations have proven to be quite powerful interventions for a wide variety of maladies such as insomnia, depression, generalized anxiety, chronic pain, anger issues, attention deficits, etc. The meditations are not intended to be a substitute, however, for medical interventions where they might be necessary.
