Random House Audio has published over 1,000 audiobooks on Cassette & CD. Most of their products are on Cassette, while 10% of their products are on CD and 15% of them are unabridged. Their site has no online retail but it does have direct links to major online retail stores that do sell the items your looking for. Most of their titles are also available at www.booksontape.com which is a division of Random House. The Random House Audiobooks site has a search engine but no way to browse their audiobooks in categories or as a whole. Some of Random House's imprints include Bantam Doubleday Dell, the Listening Library for kids, and Audible. They joined up with Audible in 2000 to produce the first ever imprint of spoken word audio suited specifically for digital distribution. Random House Audible has currently created over 140 audio programs many of which are available only by downloading them off Audible.com.
