Description

Bob Woodward, author and Assistant Managing Editor of The Washington Post, visits Google's Mountain View, CA headquarters for a conversation with Google CEO Eric Schmidt. This event took place on February 1, 2008, as a part of the Authors@Google series.

Bob Woodward is widely regarded as one of the most famous and esteemed investigative reporters of the 20th century (best known for his work with Carl Bernstein in uncovering the Watergate Scandal that led to President Richard Nixon's resignation). Bob has since then written 12 best-selling non-fiction books and is the assistant managing editor of The Washington Post.

He has won nearly every American journalism award, and the Post won the 1973 Pulitzer Prize for his work with Carl Bernstein on the Watergate scandal. In addition, Woodward was the main reporter for the Post's articles on the aftermath of the September 11th terrorist attacks that won the National Affairs Pulitzer Prize in 2002.
